Anita’s house is located in a very beautiful surrounding. The house is very private and peaceful. Near to the tourist attractions by car. The host is very responsive. A very good location to relax for a few days. There is also an outdoor terrace and barbecue.

We were kindly welcomed in a beautiful place. Very special combination of nature, art and a delicious breakfast in the morning. This was with the nice weather outside on the terrace. The other guests were also very friendly and the bed was fine. Wonderfully cycled in the beautiful surroundings of Oude IJsselstreek.

Donald is a very kind and gracious host, he is always happy to answer questions and impart knowledge about the local activities, places to visit and even the art world. The room is bright and spacious with great views. A fantastic place to book if you are visiting the area, it was a pleasure to stay there.

Our stay in the Monkey Attic was wonderful! The location was absolutely perfect, very centrally located to everything and close to the train station with easy access to the airport. Joris was a wonderful host, meeting us personally to help with check-in and get the lay of the “jungle”.🙂 Even though it is an attic in his home, the separate entrance made everything feel very private and Joris was great about maintaining that privacy while also being very responsive if needed. We were a family of 4 with two boys (13 and 11) and the size was perfect for us. As Joris has described, the stairs are steep but well worth the climb. We were so happy to find this little gem in the heart of everything and wouldn’t hesitate at all to stay here again!

Enchanting little place in a beautiful location.

I really enjoyed staying in one of the cubes. They are shipping containers decorated and equipped to a really high standard. Heater/air con, underfloor heating, comfy bed, warm shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to sit or to dine. Art work created by Phillip’s wife on the walls. A few of these cubes collected around an outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of privacy but also a chance to be sociable if you want. Very close to the river and a great restaurant (Hamdan’s). Peaceful and in the countryside, but close to Bremen. Saw the northern lights on my visit! Phillip is a really good host - responsive, friendly, helpful. He and his wife live on site. They do a really tasty high quality continental breakfast too if you want. Highly recommended place to stay - quirky, fun and really comfortable

The place was magical. Our host was very friendly and explained everything to us. The mattresses were very comfortable. In the morning we were gently woken up by the ducks. Wonderful - so close to nature.

The house is fantastic to stay there with a large family (even several generations). Everything very tastefully decorated. A perfectly equipped kitchen to cater for yourself. Great bathrooms! And very good mattresses. Nadin is a perfect hostess! We would go on vacation there again any time.

I stayed here for 1 night in early March so it was a bit cold to use the pool but the area was really beautiful and there’s a little river about 200 meters away and a beer garden. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and answered any questions we had. I would recommend this place in the summer to enjoy the sun and the pool and the river near by.

Had a super nice stay! The surroundings are very nice and very quiet. I had my dog with me and was able to walk along the water with him, and he had plenty of space to run and play! Wonderfully calm and quiet atmosphere! Communication with Chantal was also pleasant. I was able to reach her easily and reach out to her with my questions. Upon arrival, she guided me to the correct room by phone. Instructions were fine. And host came to say hi! I had wonderful relaxing days and visitors who came by during Christmas was no problem! Great!! Really a place to come back to again.

We felt incredibly comfortable at the place! It was quiet, very clean and the location is a dream. In a few minutes you can walk directly into the dunes.

we checked in very late and arrived in the dark. But that was no problem. Ans welcomed us warmly. The room and the breakfast were very good. The view from the room was great when we woke up at the MOrgen. The breakfast is plentiful and very good, served in the cozy dining room. On itself was very attentive and friendly. So highly recommended.
