There are not words for our wonderful stay at Daniele and Barbara's house. It's a whole family affair, with both parents taking care of us and the house. You can tell they all have the kindest souls and did their best to make us feel welcome and at home even with the language barrier! The house was very clean and had a beautiful view - I've never seen a more beautiful sunrise, honestly. The driveway is steep but we made it up just fine in our 9 passenger van. It is easy to find and it is very easy to access the downtown area. There are a lot of grocery options nearby and restaurants, as well. We tried to take the train one day but couldn't find parking - just a warning if you plan to do the same (though with a smaller car, you might be fine). The house is very close to some good wineries and easy to access Greve in Chianti, which was a nice visit. The house itself had very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and nice water pressure in the showers. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Sergio's place is fantastic and Sergio is a great host! I almost don't want to say how wonderful our experience was, for fear it will be hard to get in the future. The location is walkable to anywhere you want to be in Florence. The apartment is spacious and having two bathrooms was convenient. Sergio was incredibly responsive and just gave you the sense he was there to make your trip great. This was our first time to Italy and it is going to be hard to find places in other locations that live up to the standard Sergio and his place set.

Soggiornare da Laura è stato come sentirsi in famiglia. Accogliente, mi ha fornito sin dall'arrivo tutte le istruzioni della casa. Ha cercato di trovare una soluzione per tutte le mie richieste. La casa è spaziosa, e ci sono 2 bagni. Si nota che Laura ha una predisposizione a questo genere di attività ricettiva, che si tramanda da generazioni, dato che i genitori gestiscono degli alberghi sul mare e a poca distanza dall'appartamento. Mi ha anche dato la possibilità di avere prezzi agevolati qualora avessi voluto usufruire dei servizi dell'hotel (pranzi, cene, colazione, ...)

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break from seeing cities. Bella was very helpful, letting us know what would be open over a holiday, recommending a lovely restaurant and hikes etc.. We had what we needed to cook for ourselves.

We spent a lovely 9 days in Florence in Lorenzo’s apartment. It was perfect for us, as we wanted to be able to cook some nights, so the well-stocked mini-market around the corner was great and the cooktop in the apartment exactly what we needed. We even walked up to the Mercato Centrale one day and bought fresh ingredients for minestrone. Being vegan, Santo Felafel nearby was a gift, as well as Sbrino, the delicious gelateria down the road. Oltrarno is a buzzing part of town, especially near Santo Spirito, but as soon as we closed the doors of the apartment, we didn’t hear anything which was exactly what we wanted! Close enough to all the fun, restaurants & tourist sites but far enough away to recoup after the day’s adventures. We also took the bus up to Fiesole which I would definitely recommend. Lorenzo was very generous with all our questions & queries, he couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay in Florence in the Oltrarno Suite.

I’m a frequent Airbnb guest, in different locations around the world, and I don’t think I’ve had a better experience than here. Simone was spectacularly helpful and friendly , and the meal he made us all on one of our evenings was Michelin star standard. The villa itself was incredibly well equipped, with everything that you could ever wish for, especially in the kitchen which was so well equipped ( and I speak as someone who booked a villa in Sicily in June this year, where the kitchen was quite the opposite) The location was ideal, with a view of the Tuscan hills and the Arno valley to die for. I can’t recommend this villa, and especially Simone, more highly

Prima en ruim appartement in een complex van meerdere gasten verblijven. Goede centrale ligging in de Chianti. Mooi uitzicht vanaf terras van appartement La Capanna delle Barteline.
