This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Lake Sanabria is 6 km away where you can bathe ,rent canoes, hike ,climb the mountains,etc. Puebla de Sanabria where there is a spectacular castle is 3km away,downtown where you can see wild wolves..etc

The house is divided into 3 apartments with different capacities so that you can have privacy when you want and be together when you want. There is an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, another with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom that is fully wheelchair accessible, and an apartment with 1 bedroom and a bathroom. In total, the house has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 living room with a 150cm sofa bed, 2 living-dining rooms with kitchen and a 150cm sofa bed.

Casa Rural El Gato Negro is located in a unique setting in the heart of Sanabria Natural Park. It has a room with a 1.35 cm double bed and another with two 90 cm single beds. It has a bathroom with shower with screen, toilet and sink. The kitchen and living room occupy the same space with direct access to the porch and garden. The house is equipped with all kinds of utensils, sheets, towels and some toiletries. It also has a fireplace and barbecue.
