The house was very clean and easy to find. Self check in available and the door is key coded so no worries carrying around a key. Comfy bed, nice balcony and everything as described in the kitchen. It is in a residential area therefore you need a car to stay here!! The price was very reasonable. Felt safe in the neighbourhood. Thanks to the host for having us :)

5 stars – An unforgettable stay! This house was absolutely incredible — even better in person than the photos suggest! The highlight for us was definitely the pool: it was sparkling clean, HEATED! (such a nice touch!), and came with a breathtaking view that made every moment feel like a dream. Kevin, the host, was fantastic — super responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The second Kevin (The house manager) was amazing as well! You can really tell he puts care into every detail. The house was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets and beyond. We also loved the little extras: a BBQ grill that worked perfectly, tons of TV channels for downtime, and a great collection of books for those lazy afternoons. If you're on the fence about booking, just do it — you won’t regret it. Thanks again, Kevin, for such a wonderful stay!

We (a couple) stayed at the Hummingbird Villa April 2025 and had a great stay. The villa was very accurately described by the photos and was modern and clean. The two decks had a beautiful view of the sunset - watching the sunset each night was our favorite part of the trip! Debbie was very communicative. We had a super minor maintenance issue, which Debbie resolved quickly and easily. The condo is about 10-15mins outside of St. Johns, which makes for a peaceful surrounding, but you will definitely need to rent a car to stay here. Our favorite beach was Deep Bay beach, which was a 5 minute drive further down the road on which the condo complex is located. Definitely worth checking out and make sure you get a fresh grilled lobster from Just Grillin'!

I had an absolutely amazing stay! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, supported, and at ease the entire time. My host went above and beyond—she not only made me feel welcome but also brought me to local events and showed me a beautiful part of the island I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Her insider tips and generous hospitality made this trip extra special. While there are a few lovely beaches within walking distance, I highly recommend renting a car from her to fully explore the island’s hidden gems. And I can’t forget to mention her sweet dogs—I miss them already! This was one of the most memorable and enriching travel experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you!
