“Perfect place for a quick business trip. Rod is a gracious and accommodating host. He has a beautiful home and the convenience was perfect. I will definitely keep this option in mind for business trips in the future.”
This beautifully preserved brick home was built in 1890. The Engesser family owned a brewery and circus! The "Queen Elisabeth" Room is quaint and charming with a full size canopy bed and private bath with shower across the hall. Soak up the morning sun in the lovely parlor/sitting room.
“Helpful hostess gave suggestions for dealing with parking options after a strong rain and accommodating weather fluctuations for room comfort. Clean, well appointed house without clutter. Good lighting for getting around in the evening. Appreciated the offer of some dairy free, gluten free, organic, and cruelty free items. Comfortable sitting room, beautiful landscaping, and enjoyed coffee on the back porch a couple mornings. Area felt safe to walk in, even at night. Appreciated translucent shades to allow sun into the bedroom without a glare. The regular blinds keep the room nice and dark. Slept well and would stay here again.”
Luxury 1400 square foot apartment. All new appliances including washer and dryer. Close to hotels, groceries, restaurants and Schells Brewery all within walking distance. Bike trail across the street.
“What a beautiful apartment! Simply a lovely place to stay while we explored New Ulm. Thoughtful touches like wine and beer, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Rod was an excellent communicator and we appreciated the coupons and suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Touring the Schell's Brewery was very fun, and we enjoyed dinner at Sozial, a drink by the roaring fire at Turner Hall, and wonderful coffee at Lola's. We highly recommend this lovely spot!!”
