Bungalow vacation rentals in Gerokgak

We had booked Nyoman's AirBnB at short notice and were absolutely delighted. We were very warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. Nyoman wrote us down what we can explore during our stay in the area. Furthermore, every wish was read from our eyes. We were allowed to choose breakfast for the next morning from a menu that his wife prepared and brought us freshly at our desired time. You have the opportunity to order a lunch and dinner as well as other drinks and juices. Nyoman offers to organize a scooter. We were happy to use that too. Fancy a massage? No problem! Nyoman organized two masseuses who visited us at our property. The pool is beautiful and you can look into the jungle. Good restaurants are within walking distance. You fall asleep wonderfully with chirping 🦗 in this cozy bed. We felt at home. Thank you:)

We loved our stay with Doni. First step in our few-month break in Bali. We felt at home very quickly. The bungalow is very nice, clear, clean, lots of charm. The well-equipped outdoor space. Sejoli is a haven of peace, the little houses all prettier than the other. The staff is adorable, very helpful. The location in an alley away from street noise. Les Umalas a neighborhood we knew, quiet, not in the seminyak or Canggu fire but accessible by taxi. On the street some good restaurants.

Our first trip to Bali and our first hotel stay - we could not have been more impressed with the hospitality and comfort we experienced at Umakayu! We stayed for five nights over the new year period. Putu & his team were amazing, informative and always willing to help. Nicole gave us some great recommendations for new year’s and advice for our travels around Bali after we checked out. The villa was cosy, authentic and felt very private. There was some construction around the area but this is the case throughout all of Bali and it didn’t bother us. The hotel is walking distance to Batu Bolong beach which we did several times as the traffic was quite heavy given the time of year. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the Canggu area. Thank you guys so much!!

Well before I landed, Yuli messaged me and kept in contact with me throughout my entire stay in Bali. If I was ever in a pickle, she would come and help me with information galore. They would make breakfast or lunch (depending on what time you’d wake up) and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The staff were also incredible. From looking after the plants to looking after myself. I also rented a bike through Yuli it was very cheap.

Very nice accommodation,we felt very comfortable. The food was very good, the breakfast tasted great and twice we had a buffet that was very nice! great location right on the sea,great pool and beautiful garden area....great service and the staff was very friendly....

The house is breathtaking, facing the beach and the wave point, just 30 seconds of walking past, the large floor to ceiling windows and quaint traditional style are fascinating.Kadek and other staff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of water and drinks in the fridge and the breakfast was abundant and delicious.Wonderful surf break, looking forward to seeing you again.

Muda Living was exceptional, the highlight of our stay in Ubud. The villa was spacious, clean and well kept, and the pool, just a few steps away, was super refreshing. But, the best part was staying inside the family compound (actually the back end of it), allowing a glimpse of daily life for the Balinese. It was quiet and has a nice cafe on the street front where you can get really good food or drinks. It’s a 10 minute drive from downtown (depending on traffic), but we thought a good distance from the busy, crowded streets of Ubud. There’s a beautiful rice field walk close by that leads into town. Kadek and Leni are incredibly kind and helpful, their family was warm and welcoming, as was everyone working at Muda Living. Highly recommend!

Super hosts and amazing location right on the edge of the centre! Ulli and Nyoman made me feel very welcome in their home and the private bungalow is comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area, which I found ideal for reading!

Beautiful traditional houses and incredible landscape and gardens. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, it felt like being invited into a family. We only had a short time here traveling between other locations, but I would’ve chosen this as a long term spot if I had more time in the area! About 12 mins walk to the beach, or to the Perenanan strip if you want to be in the more busy commercial area. Hot shower, great lighting, strong AC, and quiet and private setting with only a few other guest houses so you can get to know your neighbors. The rice paddy field in front of the pool is quaint and overall it’s a tranquil area to relax.
