Monthly Rentals in Gibney Beach

Most of St. John is a national park and very well maintained. Beaches are beautiful and have amenities for eating and renting watercraft. The private areas go from super wealthy (who can afford that?) to the dregs. Unfortunately, lots of abandoned vehicles and boats along the road. Locals very friendly. You've got to rent a Jeep to comfortably get to Serendip. All units have parking (note your car rental place will let you park in their lots when you venture into town.) Casa Roma and High Tide restaurants excellent. Unit was nice and peaceful small pool just right for PM dip. Lovely patio. Matt lives on site so no problems left undone. Matt loaned us a beach umbrella which came in handy for any afternoon rain squalls at the beach. (There's plenty of natural shade on the beaches)Also loaned us mask and snorkel. Only problem was the TV which has 2 sets of controls and was consistently inconsistent. No big deal as TV was not high on our priorities. Serendip worth the expense.

Although my husband and I have been to St. John many times before, this was only our 2nd visit staying in the Fish Bay neighborhood. We love this neighborhood due to its residential feel, yet close to Cruz Bay and easily accessible to North Shore beaches. Tina and Joe’s place is very clean with a super comfortable king size bed. Although we are busy out and about all day, hiking, going to beaches and listening to live music , Jasmine had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable two week stay. We will book again!

We love Sunset Villa! On the island, we are out & about all day so we don’t need much in the way of space/accommodations. David’s place does the trick! There’s no real way to cook/do dishes (a microwave/griddle/toaster/coffee maker/mini fridge) but that’s fine by us. A car is pretty much a must for the day & we were able to get taxis at night. The pool/clubhouse is a great option to have access to!
