I highly recommend staying in Sete Cidades during your stay or part of your stay in Azores. It is close to many hiking trails, in a spectacular setting. also close to Ferraira where you can bathe in thermal water in the sea. If you are staying here feel free to buy bread at Padaría Tavares (a few minutes walking and for only 40 cents). A local experience in a very quiet environment. We liked the house and satisfied what was expected. It is functional and with the possibility of parking. The host was friendly and attentive to any messages we sent. Muito Obrigado. até breve

The location of the place can’t be beat. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place if you love nature. The windows in the house maximize the enjoyment of the area. The little town is just down the road, simple restaurants, but there is more available if you drive 20-40 mins. Joao was very responsive and helpful and even left a nice bottle of local wine. Go to the padaria in town for bread! They only sell bread, but it is incredible.

Cosy house in a great location! A wonderful base camp to explore the west part of São Miguel, it’s close to some of the town’s best eating places and view points.

My wife and I had a peaceful, restful stay at this beautiful home on the island. We spent our ten days here reading, drawing, resting, and doing some outings to enjoy the island’s hot springs and waterfalls. The house was clean, simply but beautifully furnished, within a 3 minute drive from groceries and a few restaurants, and felt totally private and safe. We had everything we needed! Though my wife wasn’t bothered by it, I wished the neighbor’s dogs didn’t bark so much during the night (I’m a light sleeper). But the magical sunsets, luscious landscape, and charming home more than made up for that. Petra was flexible, communicative, and an absolutely wonderful host. We are so grateful for our lovely stay here, and would be so happy to return here one day! Thank you, Petra!
