The semi-detached house consists of an old part (about 200 years old) with room heights up to about 180 cm. And an annex with normal room heights. 2 wood-burning tiled stoves plus 2 wood-burning stoves. The beds are made with fresh linens. The amenities - in the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and living room - are simple but complete. Wi-Fi and TV are also installed. The location is absolutely quiet and without light pollution! Beautiful bright apartment in the attic with fantastic views over Lake Walen. On the outskirts of Obstalden am Kerenzerberg. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides and ski tours. Quiet location and good infrastructure in the village with village shops and restaurants. In Filzbach (5 minutes by car or bus), the Kerenzerbergbahnen offer various activities throughout the year. The gondola lift in Unterterzen, which leads to the Flumserberg ski and hiking area, can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Due to the age of the house, the apartment is furnished in a bright vintage style. You can look out at the mountains from every window. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chairlift, hiking trails, indoor pool, ski school and beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.
