Suitable for 4-8 people and vacations all year around. Three parking lots in a shared garage, but also reachable via public transport.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The "Chalet Bergdoktor" is situated in a quiet location in an absolute natural paradise in the idyllic Swiss mountain village of Amden. In the newly renovated house with open fireplace, there is space for the whole family in 4 rooms. The highlight is the "Heidi bed", which has been furnished with great attention to detail. You will want for nothing in the kitchen and the garden with its barbecue and meadow lounge is the perfect place to enjoy the mountain panorama. Pets are very welcome.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Filzbach. Diese Gegend ist geprägt durch seine sonnen- und aus- sichtsreiche Lage über dem Walensee. Das Skigebiet Kerenzerberg – Filzbach befindet sich im Kanton Glarus (Schweiz, Ostschweiz). Zum Skifahren und Snowboarden stehen 7 km Skirouten zur Verfügung. Die Flumserberge sind ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Es gibt eine 7 km lange Schlittelbahn. Schneeschuhwanderungen kann man ebenso im Winter machen. Im Sommer gibt es schöne Wanderwege.

Family-friendly apartment, very centrally located and ideal for activities in Flumserberg and on Lake Walensee. Separate entrance on the ground floor and parking space next to the front door. Gondola station Unterterzen (Tannenboden, Flumserberg) is located 200 meter next to the apartment. Both beaches, the train station and a grocery store can be reached within a short walking distance. The apartment offers 3 rooms with 4 beds (1 bunk bed and 1 double bed).

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace.
