5 rooms available, about 120 m2, homy and relaxing area. Two floors and 4 bed rooms. 1 bathroom and 1 separate toilette. Bed linen and bath towels are all available and included in the price. There is a 30 m2 terrasse/platform in front of the house with an amazing view to Laax, Vally and the mountains. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, groups and families (with kids). We have two baby beds, high chair and a basket full of toys available for families with kids. You are welcome!

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.

A short walk to the breathtaking Diesbach Falls, a 5-minute drive to the Braunwald cable car and a view over fields, into the village and the Glarus mountains await you here. The house has all you need for a relaxing and sporting vacation.

This stylish home is perfect for holidays in the Glarus mountains. Hiking, swimming, surfing, stand up paddling, climbing, jogging, walking, skiing, beautiful nature. Culturally, the Glarus region offers a lot, e.g. Anna Göli Museum, Kunsthaus, Historical Museum, ancient villages e.g. Ennenda, Elm, Diesbach and much more. Not suitable for small children, because of the glass stairs. In the middle of the Ennendan village center, including church bells. But very little traffic.

Sommerabende können auf dem eigenen Sitzplatz mit Grill verbracht werden, im Winter ist der alte Kachelofen ein idealer Ort, um sich aufzuwärmen. Das hauseigene Fitness steht zur Mitnutzung zur Verfügung. Im Winter ist man mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten an der Talstation des Skigebiets, im Sommer in 10 Minuten am See.
