We had a great stay at the place. The large garden and the great views of the bay of Heraklion were amazing. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, especially with two almost adult children. The surfaces of the kitchen could have been cleaner and the dishwasher was unfortunately broken. These were the only criticisms. Jannis took care of us touchingly and contacted us again and again. The house is fantastically located at the end of a dead end and Google does not know the way there, but the directions from Jannis and Evi are perfect. A small tip: a car is mandatory! All in all it was a great holiday.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you aren’t sure if you should stay here or not, I promise you will love the place. It’s beautiful and the host was there to help me and answer questions. He even came to meet me when I got lost so I could follow him to the house! The inside of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The host left us inside enough food, snacks, and beverages to last a week, which was such a pleasant surprise. I recommend renting a car as access to the city is not within walking distance but even in the neighborhood there are two small restaurants and a little convenience store practically right outside the gates of the house. Heraklion is fun and Crete is a beautiful place to rent a car and visit sites. Even balos beach is doable in one day from there if you plan ahead. Then there are other beaches much closer and easier like Voulisma to the east. Or you can take a beautiful drive through the mountains and eat a great with w a view. Much to do! House is perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The Rustic Nook was the perfect place for us on our last 4 days on Crete. It was close to Agios Nikolaos where we spent several of those days exploring and enjoying the food. We went on a few of the many hiking trails in the area. Limnes itself was charming. A local taverna, Christinis, was a highlight with the friendly staff and great food. Amanda’s place was so comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Amanda was always quick to respond. We could not have asked for a better place.

An oasis of calm close to the seafront, harbour and old town. The house is beautifully renovated and as all that you need for your stay. Communicating with the owners was excellent & we got an instant response. It would have been helpful to have a bit more information about services in the immediate area especially grocery shops. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to others.

Great appartement near the centre but in a very quiet street. Very good size with air conditioning and a little outside terrace for sitting in the evening (shared with the flat across). The only slight problem is the fridge turns off when you leave the flat. But great place, nice and clean :)

Matthaios's place is a really nice and well equipped private house with private garden, very-very close to the beach, in a calm and quiet environment, we liked it here a lot, came with a baby, she had super nice naps :) We got a lot of help from Matthaios, any question I had he responded accurately.

We had an exceptional stay for three in this place in Crete. The apartment is cozy, very comfortable, and impeccably tidy. Everything was perfectly clean, which made us feel immediately comfortable. The proximity to the pool added extra comfort, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to Maria, the host, who was incredibly friendly, proactive and always available to meet our every need. Thanks to her, our stay went smoothly. I highly recommend this listing for a pleasant and carefree stay in Crete!

Blue Key Villa is outstanding. Situated high above the coastline it has spectacular views from almost anywhere in the Villa. Manos and his team are excellent and are able to provide recommendations and services for use in Villa. We used their recommended chef, Spyros, one evening, and it was brilliant. Communication is clear, and responses received promptly. Blue Key is an exceptional property.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Our stay at Mama La Roosa Villa was a dream. Petros was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a relaxing stay in Agia Pelagia. The villa was stunning - it had gorgeous ocean views from every angle, beautiful landscaping, and a modern design with every amenity needed for our trip. The villa felt quiet, private, and safe. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We enjoyed the pool and backyard dining area so much that we decided to skip the beach! The warm hospitality from Petros is what made the stay - he arranged reservations at the best local restaurants and wineries. We felt that we were able to truly experience Greece thanks to our stay with Petros at Mama La Roosa Villa. We wish we could stay longer and can’t wait to return. Thank you Petros for an unforgettable experience!

We had a wonderful stay at George and Claire’s villa. They were so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The villa was beautiful and in the perfect location. Would 100% recommend staying here!

This was a gem of a find with expansive views of the countryside . George was a super host! The villa was even more beautiful in person, with a large terrace and stunning views. The pool and sun decks were great. Close driving distance to a large selection of easy going taverns & supermarkets where people were very friendly and helpful . This villa is 40 min south to Matala where we enjoyed the beach and seaside restaurants and live music. We recommend!

The listing is located in the countryside surrounded by tranquility just 10 minutes from the main road. The house is clean and tidy and the hosts are very kind and very quick to respond. I had a really good time at a great price. For cat lovers, know that you will be surrounded by some kitties every morning eager for attention and food, don't deny them a can as they are so tender.🥹

Look no further! Aura Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. We almost didn’t want to leave! Make sure you visit George’s restaurant down the street. The owner George and his wife are so kind and the food was delicious.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

I had the pleasure of staying in the apartments for a few nights and am absolutely thrilled! The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcomed us warmly – we were greeted with fresh fruit and a raki. A special highlight was the dinner, which we were allowed to enjoy with the hostess and her husband. There were freshly caught fish and beer, which gave us the opportunity to get to know our hosts and learn lots of great tips and stories about the area. The accommodation itself is very cozy and family furnished. The bathroom was clean and equipped with everything you might need. Another plus is the beautiful view of the sea and the nearby tavernas. Overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay which I can highly recommend. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is a lovely, spacious studio apartment with good amenities whilst being very private and has lovely views from the terrace of both countryside and sea. A car is highly recommended, though the local beach, marina and tavernas are within a 25 minute walk. With easy parking, it is a good base to explore the island, whether you are looking for the vibrant shopping and historical culture of Heraklion, or the peace and tranquility of local mountain and coastal villages. Marina is a great host, always there to answer and help with any questions or issues. The apartment is great and such a perfect location. Ligaria was brilliant, not too busy when we visited in June. We took a tour to Matala which we loved. A very special place. I’ve already recommended Ligaria and this apartment to a friend. The local people were also very friendly and polite. I’d come back again for sure :)
