Our 80 sqm apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, directly below King Ludwig II's fairytale castle Neuschwanstein and overlooking the castle Hohenschwangau. In 15 minutes you are on foot at the Alpsee and on the ascent to the castles. Many beautiful hikes/ bike rides start with us. Schwangau is 2.6 km from the apartment, while Füssen is 4.2 km away.

Hintergraseck is situated above the Partnachgorge in the mountains with magnificent nature. Elmau Castle(G7-summit) is the neighbor to the east, 4.5km away. Unique view of the mountains. Very quiet, cozy and stylish apartment on the creek. Old building with wooden and stone floors. New bathroom and new kitchen. A mixture of old and new garnished with a lot of art and culture. In the summer you can relax on the partly covered terrace or in the garden in the sun lounger. The garden is more than half natural, with orchids, other wild flowers and grasses. In the cold season, you will be greeted with roaring fire in the fireplace and supplied with firewood

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment.
