Vacation rentals with a patio in Greene County

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

We had a great weekend winery getaway, and staying here made it all the more better! The place was clean and close to all of the wineries that we planned to visit. It was a short Uber to wineries and the downtown area/restaurants. Ann was very responsive and we enjoyed staying here! We would definitely recommend this to others and even want to come back one day!

Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient location for anyone with activities at the University. Price was very reasonable, especially given the accommodations. Stayed two nights, but suitable for longer stay as well.

Communication with Isabella was a breeze. She was responsive and friendly. Location was good - just a few minutes to JMU, grocery stores, and restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities - stove, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, and coffee machine. There are also washer and dryer which are able to handle big loads of laundry. The bedrooms are comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Even though the bathroom is small, the shower water pressure is very good. Isabella and Lorenzo provided us with helpful information and recommendations of where to eat and things to do in the area. Thank you 😊

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to UVA, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made my stay extra comfortable, including a comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, etc. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience. Paula’s place is just as described - spacious and welcoming! Very clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Easy to find and 10mins from JMU (we were there to visit with our son). Paula is a very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

We are "return" guests with Family in the area. We really enjoy working with this host and staying in this clean, spacious one bedroom unit. It is well stocked, private, very clean and comfortable. The Host was so kind and gracious, again! A great little place in a really nice part of VA!

Beautiful house and amazing surroundings. We were there to visit the national park and the place is close to the park, local breweries and vineyards. It was easy to get around. The hosts recommendation for a four wheel drive was very sound. Our friends didn’t have a four wheel drive and they could get up all the way to the house but the last little bit is hard to do. Other than amazing place and would definitely visit again.

Wonderful home and location. Home was very clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved having the kayaks available. Peaceful, private and quiet with incredible views! Easy drive to surrounding towns and Shenandoah NP. We had a great stay!

The Lydia Schoolhouse is the perfect escape for any season. Beautiful in winter and perfect for kids. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Loved the space. It was tranquil and just what we needed for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of DC! Very close to lots of great hikes. We grilled each night and watched the sunset behind the beautiful mountain scenery. Lots of room, perfect for families or friend groups. We will defeintley be back!

Gary was an amazing host from beginning to end. He was very responsive and answered all my questions easily. He provided clear check out instructions. The house looks exactly like the pictures. When we walked in the house smelled clean and fresh. Everything was spotless. It was close to stores and gas stations. The linens were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I'd definitely go back! We went for a mini girls trip and we were all very pleased. There was 5 of us and we all had our own individual rooms which was a plus. We couldn't be more grateful to Gary for being an amazing host!

Peaceful getaway in a charming space! Clean, comfortable - just like photos. Host was very attentive, letting us know before our visit that a coffee carafe had broken and asked us about our coffee preferences, making sure there was the perfect replacement available so we wouldn’t be coffeeless our first morning. This is just the kind of proactive host you’re always hoping for when booking. We loved the hot tub, the creek, the cozy couch, and lots of small details in the house that made it feel like a relaxing home. Proximity to hikes, good food, and Charlottesville made it a great hiking/reading spring break.

We loved our stay at this home! Perfect for our family of five. Lots of little details and extras, like spare toothbrushes in case you forgot. Great loft bedroom for kids. We enjoyed the firepit. It was great to bring our dog. Very close to Bald Top Brewery, which was a great location for dinner one night. We also liked the Bavarian Chef. A great place to stay for us! Would stay again if we are in the area.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We visited Massanutten 9 years ago. It left such an impression on my daughter that as a now 18 yo, she wanted to return for her senior year spring break. We had a great time as a family and will return!

One of the most stylish and continently located places we have ever stayed in. Host gave clear instructions for checking in and out. We would love to book here again.

We had a lovely stay at Lili's place. It was very peaceful! We would definitely book again if we were in the area. Lili was very responsive to any questions we had.

This pace feels like home! We stayed for 12 days and we never had the feeling of it growing old or not being comfortable. I think we could live there! Our pup did too. Everything about it was as described or better. The hosts were a fantastic family, very welcoming. You should really stay here!

BEST PLCAE TO STAY AT! The moment you enter the house just feels like you are at home. The detailing in the home is done fantastically and it's completely private. The morning view and birds chirping throughout the day is the best part. Not to forget, Gr is the sweetest host and she has put in so much efforts to make the stay a memorable one. 10/10 for the property, stay and the host.
