“The host had great communication and was quick to respond. The home was very clean and exactly as pictured. We loved being able to sit on the front porch at night. We were on an unexpected trip due to a family members decline in health and weren't at the home much so we didn't use the kitchen. However, it has everything you would need to prepare a meal and plenty of dishes and utensils. The location was perfect for us traveling in Greenville and to knoxville. They had a cot for us to use for our fourth person and was kind to set it up for us. Would definitely recommendend this home and host. We hope to be able to come again.”

It is now operated by Edens' grandson, Jonathan Edens, who, like his grandfather, seeks to put the historic home to new use as a lodge. Walking trail across the road. Minutes from downtown Greeneville and Tusculum College. Twenty minutes from Historic Jonesborough.
“We really enjoyed our stay. Three of us friend from different states (SC, OH, NY) were in the area for a National dog event in Limestone. While we had friends refused their hotel reservations late at night we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is comfortable. We lit a wood stove at night and enjoyed visiting. Thank you Jonathan for the hospitality and quick response. I hope anyone else who stays with dogs continues to do their VERY best for you. We hope to stay again.”

“This was a wonderful experience for my family. Jerry and Carolyn are just the perfect hosts. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have a darling little dog named “Rusty” and I can’t say enough about the beautiful property or the whole Llama experience!!! We went inside the fence with several of them and they are so tame, sweet, curious, incredible animals. They also had lots of other cool animals.... We were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday with a surprise trip to the NASCAR race at Bristol (which I highly recommend EVEN if you are not a racing fan....what an awesome time....it is only one weekend of the year though) ... Anyway, this was a beautiful drive and not to far from the track (maybe 40 minutes or less even) This is a great place to stay and it will be even better when they open up their other building for a more private lodge. Carolyn layed out a really yummy display of breakfast items and had coffee available for us (which I wasn’t even expecting) and I thought it was such a nice touch. It was Just a really cool experience. Be prepared to take a lot of pictures on their little slice of heaven and don’t forget to check out their little gift shop with handmade Llama things.”
