Charming self-contained country cottage for weekend breaks and holidays. Snuggle up by the log-burning stove with a cup of tea/glass of wine after a long country walk. Located on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire/South Yorkshire border within close proximity of beautiful Lincoln, only 1 hour 20 minutes' train journey from central London.
“My partner and I stayed here to visit the Lincoln Christmas market. The Lincoln Park and Ride was around a 25 drive away and the bus got us there in about 10 mins. It's a charming place which is just as cosy as pictured. As pets are allowed to stay I was a little concerned as my partner is allergic, however lots of reviews mentioned how clean the property was and we really wanted to stop here. We weren't disappointed, the place is spotless and my partner didn't have any reactions which just goes to show how much care is taken to clean and maintain the property. Bread, butter, milk, jam, wine and orange juice was kindly provided by the hosts for our use. There was a handy folder with information about the local area, takeaways, instruction manuals, contact details for the hosts and the WiFi password. A word of warning to the tall, my partner and I are 6ft5 and 6ft respectively, if you're of similar heights you will need to duck on the stairs but it didn't bother us as that's typical in cottage style properties. The shower is a little cramped and my partner struggled to manoeuvre himself to shower properly, but it does the job for a short stay. If we were in the area again we would be happy to stop here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Kelly’s place for the weekend. Although an annex, the home is very spacious and actually like a house in itself over 2 storeys. It was very clean and decorated nicely throughout. Very spacious rooms and all the amenities you’d need. The pub next door serves delicious meals and no noise due to the car park being in between. We were a family of 4, 2 young kids and the place was perfectly suitable for a family or adults. Loads of things to do in the local area. We visited Sundown Adventureland and Yorkshire wildlife park, both a short distance. We will definitely be back!”
This is a converted tractor barn within the grounds of Westhill Farmhouse. It has not been a working farm since the 1960's but is set within a quiet area with garden space and off road parking. The property is wheel chair accessible
“The place was wonderful. Very clean, warm and lots of lovely little touches to make you feel at home. Doreen was a super host and went above and beyond to make it a good stay. Her suggestions of local things to do turned a good planned weekend into a great weekend.”
