Enjoy & explore the beauty of Lake Carite by staying in a Treehouse, located on top of a hill in a small tropical Farm. Surround yourself with nature of Carite Forest and explore a hidden gem of Puerto Rico :)
“Enjoy life, enjoy nature its all you can expect from this tree house. The host will receive you as if you are family. You have horses, cows, coqui, etc. This is just a few of what you may see while staying in this lovely tree house. Bring with you your grocery before getting to the tree house since its really away of any type of stores. Another suggestion would be to go in a SUV since the road is not on its best conditions. Other than that its just a nice way to get away of a busy life and to be yourself in nature!”

“Excellent location, the super comfortable apt. Carlos is an excellent host and was attentive at all times so that our stay was the best possible. I recommend it 100%.”

“Family of five who recently relocated to Puerto Rico from Maui. Like many were going crazy stuck at home while waiting out CV-19. Having a special needs child who thrives on structure and daily outdoor routines proved to be quite a challenge for the first week of the lock-down, and our son and us as parents where not getting any sleep. We scanned all rentals on the island, and only Jerry's home provided the privacy and seclusion that would allow us to legally get out of the home and enjoy nature while still following government rules and curfew. Jerry let us book last minute and was waiting for us to let us into the private gated road to his large beautiful private farm and lake house. We found the open kitchen and living concept to be perfect to get away from the world scene and many times we really forgot what was going on outside in the real world. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen and over the fire(s). We enjoyed hiking around and exploring, fishing in the lake and cat-fishing in the lower rivers. We enjoyed the lake and rope swing, and kayaking around. We also enjoyed picking and roasting coffee, bananas, berries and even got adventurous and tried catching and cooking grubs and bugs and so on. Hey..., no better place than to teach and gross out the kids then when being secluded in nature on an eco-farm. Well, we wrapped up our week and headed home. Puerto Rico extended the curfew and lock-down, so we decided that there is no better place for us than back at Jerry's lakehouse. Unfortunately for Jerry, due to cancellations and travel restrictions the home was available so we booked another few weeks there to ride out the CV situation. You will not be disappointed if you are into privacy and off the grid life style. If you like this type of living you probably like secluded beaches as well. We live here so our suggestion for the best secluded beach in reasonable driving distance to the home is Playa Punta Tuna. Best secluded hike off the beaten path is infinity pool off of the beautiful secluded waterfall hike in Naguabo. Or for a water playground hit up las Tinajas.”
