The space
This welcoming multi-level lakefront home is designed for relaxed group stays and time together. The open-concept living area brings the kitchen, dining space and comfortable lounge together, making it easy to cook, dine and unwind as a group.
Outside, guests can enjoy the deck or patio, private beach access to Piggott Lake, a dock, watercraft and a firepit with outdoor seating. Laundry facilities are also available for added convenience during longer stays.
Guest access
Guests have private use of the entire home and its lakefront amenities during their stay. This includes the kitchen and dining area, indoor living spaces, laundry facilities, deck or patio, firepit area, private lake access, dock and guest watercraft.
Other things to note
The home is arranged over multiple levels, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.
This is a lakefront property with direct access to the water, dock and watercraft. Children and anyone who is not a confident swimmer require close supervision around the lake, dock, hot tub and watercraft. Please check local weather and water conditions before using the lake.
The stone firepit seating area has uneven terrain and an unguarded drop of approximately three feet at one point. Guests should keep well back from the edge, use extra caution after dark and supervise children closely in this area.
The property has two propane firepits. These are intended for warmth and ambience only; they are not wood-burning or cooking firepits.
One bedroom has a triple bunk bed consisting of three single sleeping surfaces. It accommodates up to three adult guests or perhaps six children. Guests using the upper bunks must be able to climb the ladder safely.
The property is in a peaceful rural setting outside Halifax’s regular public transit area. A car is strongly recommended for reaching the property and exploring the surrounding area.
