Beautiful area
Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Experience a slice of retro paradise with a stay at our lovingly restored vintage 16 foot, 1975 Prowler camper on our picturesque hobby farm. Say hello to our friendly horses, sheep and honeybees, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our 51 acre farm in the Annapolis Valley.
The space
Sleeping arrangements:
The couch pulls out into a double bed, and the dinette converts into a single. Perfect for a couple, or two pals. We supply all the bedding + extra blankets and pillows to ensure you'll have a great night's rest.
Kitchen space:
There is a small kitchenette in the camper with mini fridge, sink (cold water only), propane stovetop, and all the dishes, utensils, and pots and pans you'll need to whip up a bite to eat. Beside the kitchenette, you'll find a coffee/tea bar.
Outdoor areas:
Outside your camper, there's a patio area facing a brook with seating, a picnic table, firepit, and propane BBQ.
Electronics:
The camper has original glass fixtures throughout & several outlets (including USB charger) to keep your electronics charged. There is a sound-system with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can enjoy all your favourite tunes. High-speed wifi extends out to your site.
Other things to note
This is a vintage camper, and while she's been recently renovated, she's an ol' gal, so has her limitations (no hot water, AC, heating or oven). Ceiling height is just over 6.5 feet.
We have 1 campsite in another area of the farm that is sometimes booked at the same time as the trailer. The outhouse (portapotty) and shower are shared between the two sites. Both are a short walk away from the camper.
We provide extra blankets and a heated mattress pad, however: our camper does not have AC or heating.
This is a working farm. You can expect to see us working around property and with the animals. There will be flies, insects, manure, and animal noises!
For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate children under 12 years old.
We are on the outskirts of the village of Lawrencetown, on a main road. We love the convenience of being close to town, but the trade off is road noise at the campsite.
