Small two piece bathroom and small shower (similar in size to what you would find in a camping trailer) as well, all within the unit. Couch in living room also pulls out for an extra sleeping space. This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

It is a great space for those needing a local place to stay or tourists wanting access to nature. We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

The Meadow

Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. We pay all Sales and Income taxes to the prov/fed governments).

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
