FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Quiet location in small genuine village. Close to forest and swimming lakes. 20 km to the picturesque town of Nora. The house shares land with a larger house where the landlord lives. Possibility to borrow rowing boat.

If you hire our house, you'll have access to pool-table, motorboat and canoe. We also have a really nice house next to the lake where you can barbeque, go fishing and relax. The house is equipped with kitchen and about 15 kilometer away from town.
