Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hanover County

They house was wonderful. Very spacious and well equipped. We did have a power outage which was no fault of the owners which lasted a long time due to a strong storm that passed through. Lorna and Martin graciously offered to bring our group water, flashlights, food, and more blankets. Communication was fantastic and we look forward to returning in the future

Our host, Tom, accommodated our family with a last minute request that was outside the typical stay parameters after another host had to do a last minute cancel on us for an unforeseen circumstance. He was the nicest host we've ever had! The home was very spacious, comfortable, spotless and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, paper supplies and all our cooking needs. Beds had soft, comfortable bedding. Bathrooms stocked with soaps, shampoos and plenty of towels. We truly just had to bring ourselves and the food/drink to enjoy a wonderful family Christmas stay. I highly recommend this AirBnb and we will definitely stay with this host again whenever we are in the area. Thank you!

Samantha’s place is perfect for families with kids - we have family in Richmond and needed a place to stay nearby. The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated and furnished and had everything we needed, and Samantha was proactive in checking on how things were going and if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend her place!

Great cottage! Large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Everything brand new. Very relaxing porches. Beautiful, woodsy surroundings.

Our family needed a temporary home on short notice due to some damage to our home and Kay was incredible from start to finish - understanding, flexible and responsive. The home is beautiful - with an almost ski lodge feel, tastefully decorated, and cozy but spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. The location is quiet, private, wooded and peaceful. We could not have appreciated Kay as a host more and loved the home! Thank you!!!

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed in units A & B which were exactly as described. We had a 20 month old in the party so it was extremely helpful to have the high chair, crib and baby gate in the unit. The location was perfect for us; we were centrally located to the wedding events around town. We appreciated the communication from Sarah throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this listing.

This was a perfect spot for us being in town for an event at the convention center. Loved it!

Exactly as described - great spot to visit RVA. Nice backyard if you've got kids or dogs. Nearby parks for activities. Walkable businesses are mostly fast-food, convenience stores, etc. Bed was comfy, bathroom squeaky clean, living area was cozy, and kitchen all that was needed. Great overall!

Our family has stayed at 11 Air BB's during the Christmas time in the past 12 years and this was by far the best one. We had alot of fun. It had many ingredients for cooking. We didn't use them but they were available. And so nice to have hair dryers in all the bathrooms. Thank you Catherine for everything

We had a wonderful time! Very spacious for the two of us, but still worth the price. Nice little courtyard. Wonderful neighborhood - so easy to walk to tons of restaurants and bars, as well as an easy walk to Belle Island. The spiral staircase is lovely but would be tough for anyone with mobility issues. Andrea was a great host! This was a fantastic little spot for a quick trip to my hometown. Andrea was flexible with us about our check-in time and when I added a guest at the last minute. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet space close to Richmond and the surrounding area.

This little apartment is perfect for two people. Neat and clean! The thoughtful touches (bread, croissants, fruit, drinks) were greatly appreciated.

A great place to stay in one of my favorite neighborhoods in one of my “hometowns.”

Mei provided a lovely location and unit for our short stay in Richmond. This apartment is in a safe area with restaurants and other businesses just a short walk or drive away. The apartment itself was homey with everyone one might need for a short stay in Richmond. The attention to detail and cleaning in the unit was obvious and much appreciated. Before and during our stay, Mei was proactive and warm in terms of our communication. I will definitely consider staying here next time I am in the area!

Thanks again to our hosts! Great space near plenty of great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to grocery stores as well. Easy parking, so you can leave the car for your entire stay and just walk to your desired destination. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Richmond!

This was the perfect place I was looking for. Definitely worth the price and the location was definitely A+. Very clean and very comfortable. Bed was super soft!! Would definitely book here again! No questions ask!

I'd highly recommend Chandra's place if you plan to visit Richmond. Lovely, spacious space with very cool art. Primo location with convenient street parking that is walkable to many great restaurants, shops, and venues. She's a great host and we had enjoyed our stay very much.

Place was great! My friends and I enjoyed our stay and the 4 of us were able to work from the kitchen table for a day. Very walkable to local coffee shops and cafes. Grocery store 5-10 minutes away by car. I'll let it be known that communication with host was automated and felt a little corporate-y but I was able to quickly get in touch directly with Mei when needed.

During our stay there were several weather related issues. The electricity went out because of the weather. Since I was not the owner of the property, I could not report the outage to the power company. Once I informed Edna about the situation, she immediately contacted the power company, provided me with the information I would need to check on power status, and had the power company contact me. Edna was prompt with responses when there were some complications with her cleaning service.
