House vacation rentals in Hanover County

Anna was thoughtful and communicative right from the start. We had a pipe crack and damage in our own home and we needed to move out quickly for remediation. Anna’s home met all our needs (including our beagle’s). The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked including lots of handy spices, teas, coffee, etc. It was relaxing and fun as a family to have the pool table and the darts and a comfortable and big couch for us all to hang out on. Lots of space for us to work and for our teens to get their homework done. Can’t thank her enough!

I really enjoyed our stay here plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do to keep you entertained!

Great stay in the middle of Richmond very close to Carytown with lots to do. The backyard is gorgeous and expansive, with a trampoline, pool, and a firepit. We all enjoyed the games in the game room. The hosts are extremely responsive to any questions you may have, which was super helpful! Overall we felt very well taken care of.

A beautiful and comfortable escape in Mechanicsville. Shannon is very responsive and her home is very clean and inviting in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Convenient location for food, shopping, and popping into Richmond. Plenty of space to relax and unwind and the pool table was a bonus! Amenities were outstanding and my son wants to copy the coffee bar :) Highly recommend this property!

This place was amazing! My sisters and I went for a girls trip with our mom and we were only there for one day, but everyone kept raving about how amazing the house was. Very beautiful house, has all the amenities you need, and great location right by Short Pump.

Great big house that is well suited for large family gatherings. Plenty of dishes and kitchen items for a large group. The seating in dining and kitchen is a bit limited given number of guests but workable. We loved the 4 season porch!!! We had a bit of a challenge with the heat on the coldest night of the year but the host was very responsive when I raised the concern- brought space heaters and a technician within a few hours. There is plenty of space and comfy couches to spread out. Overall, the basics are provided for a comfortable stay! Our family had a great time!

Samantha’s place is perfect for families with kids - we have family in Richmond and needed a place to stay nearby. The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated and furnished and had everything we needed, and Samantha was proactive in checking on how things were going and if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend her place!

If you are looking for the perfect lake house for a large group, this is it! We had three families and a bunch of young children. This house was immaculate, fully stocked with plenty of bath towels, essentials, and lake gear. The boathouse is perfect for kids and adults to enjoy. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again for longer!

The hosts were very accommodating and made us feel right at home with extra toiletries, fruit on the dining table, snacks in the kitchen, and some things in the kitchen that made us feel very welcome. The house was warm, clean and comfortable during our stay during a snow storm and the backyard was a good size for our dog. I would recommend double checking the gates as both were closed but not latched. Had a great experience overall.

Had a great stay in this home and Ash is a great host. It’s perfect for a big group, incredibly spacious and many rooms/beds to accommodate a lot of guests. The house was very clean and comfortable to be in for a long weekend. It’s also right on the lake, which makes for some beautiful views. We visited in the middle of winter so we weren’t able to make use of a lot of the outdoor amenities, but there was still plenty to do. The fire pit and movie room were perfect for a cold winter weekend! Only point of feedback is that there wasn’t a proper first aid kit or very many cleaning supplies. Overall, loved our time here and would absolutely recommend. 10/10!

The house is very clean and neat with comfortable accommodations for seven of us. Extra amenities and touches were so nice to have. The girls loved having blankets to use other than the bed linens. The location was perfect for our needs in downtown Richmond. Off-street parking was great. The host let us adjust our stay dates. Even though we left the house clean and sorted, check-out was very nice not having to complete a laundry list of items before leaving early in the morning. We would recommend the host and house and definitely would stay with her and in this house again if heading to downtown Richmond.

My family and I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Bill & Brian’s home while we toured VCU with our son. Our hosts were super understanding and accommodating of our last-minute schedule changes. We will definitely consider staying at their home again if our son decides to attend VCU next Fall. Our overall experience was A+++!!!

Tristana is a Super kind host and the quirky but fun bungalow is extremely lovely. Had a wonderful St. Paddy weekend and the home was centrally located to all of the activities we attended. Moreover, the beautiful home is located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with plenty of street parking and a comfortable porch and yard. Without a doubt, I will visit Tristana again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We live locally but had family coming from out of state and needed more space to accommodate. This offered everything we needed and was much more spacious than expected. The deck set up is great as we had rain some of the trip so could still enjoy outside in the covered section without having to get soaked. Will definitely consider booking again when family visits!

Timothy’s place was better than expected. Everything was top notch from the provided amenities to the cleanliness of the space. It’s in a beautiful location right by the park and lake and super close to restaurants. I loved how quiet it was in the evenings and I felt very safe and at home there. Timothy was also so quick to respond to any questions I had, which is always a huge plus. The bed was also super comfortable, which can be a game changer in an Airbnb. I would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again when I visit.

It was the perfect location for events I was attending at the Henrico Sports Center. It’s a very beautiful area and the house was perfect!

This was a wonderful place to stay with extended family while in Richmond for a wedding weekend. It's a beautiful historic home with plenty of space and lovely architectural features. We had an issue with the thermostat that was fixed within minutes of notifying the hosts. They were super accommodating both before we arrived and during our stay. Highly recommend!

My family stayed over Christmas to visit family in the area and we loved this stay! The home was spotless and comfy at the same time. The historic location was close to downtown venues and incredible restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We had a great weekend at Alex's place. It's easy to access, you don't have to park on the street, and it's an easy 10 minute drive to downtown. I would recommend this place for anyone traveling to Richmond. It was also kid-friendly.

Hosts were great. Proactive and very informative and clear with their instructions. Didn’t even realize there was a pool table until we got there which was a pleasant surprise. The playroom area was spacious and made for a nice hangout room. Loved our stay.
