This is the second time we’ve stayed atThe Hermitage on the Hill and highly recommend it. Jennie has created a peaceful, retreat-like setting with many rooms to sit, relax and enjoy the view. It is spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well appointed and Jennie provides scones and croissants for breakfast. In addition she is extremely responsive and pleasant. She has exceeded our expectations again.

Was a perfect place to host Thanksgiving for my kids, grands, and our pups! We had a fun and peaceful holiday. The grands enjoyed the yard games, roasting marshmallows, the hot tub, and seeing the many deer that frequently visited. Our pups enjoyed being included and appreciated all the toys and beds for them. We hope to return in the spring to enjoy the water! Communication, check in, and check out was a breeze. 5 star stay for sure!

The set up was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I aren’t usually the Glamping type but this was a truly unique and memorable experience. Julie is quite literally the sweetest host and person in existence and I 10/10 recommend staying here if you’re looking for a pleasant stay in an outdoorsy setting. The hot tub was sooooooo relaxing and just overall a remarkable experience and lovely stay!

we came in for my husbands 50th birthday and needed a place to stay with our family and friends. Was a nice house, easy to get into and had a few things stocked for just incase. clean home and near a lot of restaurants and things to do. If we come back into town would love to stay again. John was very responsive and checked in before we arrived to make sure we have everything.

This was a gem of a place in such gorgeous surroundings. It was truly a special experience to have private access to the pool and huge back patio. I appreciate Lesley’s efforts with such a thoughtful and tasteful beach theme throughout this pool house. We enjoyed everything inside and out!

I had a wonderful stay at Reagan's place. Reagan was a very helpful and responsive host. The apartment is in a great location with an assigned garage parking space. The apartment was very clean; had great closet space; and easy access to the building and apt. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone traveling to Richmond.

I had a very last minute booking and he was responsive and helpful. Everything was as I expected. Super minor note is that you have to jiggle the lock a bit sometimes. It threw me off the first time I tried it.

Stayed for a few days to catch up on some writing and catch up with an old friend. My time was incredibly peaceful, undisturbed, and extraordinarily relaxing; the place is in a quiet part of town that's still close enough to the "city" to make going out viable. Would recommend.
