The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Very spacious and quiet location and everything on the ground floor ! The outside terrace has a lovely lounge set with BBQ and a parasol. The kitchen is adjacent to the living area and is fully furnished. For a group of 4 people, you can book in addition to the apartment. With AIR CONDITIONING in the living room pets are NOT allowed.

The center of Makkum is 5 minutes drive/30 minutes walk from the property. Really everything is at hand for the perfect vacation: surf/sailing schools, the cruise boat, cycling and walking routes, beach tents, the charming center of Makkum and of course the beautiful sunset! The apartment is 10-15 minutes from Dokkum, the Wadden Sea, departure points to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog and the Lauwersmeer National Park.
