Bright, airy cottage right on Basin Cove in Harpswell Maine. Cool breezes with pristine views, especially for the sunsets over the cove. At the end of Harpswell Neck, so it feels like you're far away, but still only an hour from Portland, 1/2 hour from Freeport & 15 minutes from Brunswick. Use it as your hub to explore Midcoast Maine or hunker down and enjoy the screened in porch after a swim in the cove.
“MaryAnn’s house on the lake is just fabulous, very clean and tidy and the views are just amazing. The house has everything you need and we were surprised and delighted with muffins on arrival. MaryAnn responds very quickly and provided info on things to do in Harpswell. Would really love to return if were in the US again 😁”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Karen always replied quickly to our questions before I booked all the way to check out. The house is very nice and well described. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our teens enjoyed the beach area and the kayaks that were available. There is plenty of room for a large family to spread out and have their own space or come together for a large family dinner. We would definitely return to Schooner Landing should we travel to the area again.”
This lovely contemporary one-story home is a relaxing, unfussy place to call home for a few days (or longer). It is located within walking distance of the famous Cribstone Bridge, Orr’s Island Candy Store and two popular restaurants on Bailey Island.
“Stephen’s cottage was a fantastic place to get away for a few days. The space is large for two people, thoughtfully decorated, and has all of the amenities we could have needed for our stay. It was also very clean when we arrived. The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a beautiful home. Check-in was simple, and that was quite nice after a long day of traveling. Though we didn’t get the chance to meet Stephen, we was responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. Our first morning there, we woke up early and were pleasantly surprised to be able to see the sunrise over the ocean from the kitchen window. It is a fairly long drive to get in and out of Orr’s island, but we found we were always looking forward to going back to the cottage if we’d left the area for the day. It seemed like Orr’s/Bailey island had plenty to do if you don’t want to leave the area. We’ll definitely be back in the future and highly recommend Stephen’s cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area.”
