Westward Ho! and Instow beaches are also only 30 minutes away. 365 acres of commons is just around the corner. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. Check out Wedlands Cottage for a two bed stay.

Little extra touches like toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, cleaning supplies. An extra special welcome will be waiting for you. The views are spectacular and this really is a getaway from everything. The weather wasn’t as nice as we’d hoped which meant we spent less time exploring but more time at this lovely property. The bed was comfy and the room spacious. Kitchen space is perfect for cooking and dining in with views over the open countryside. We hope to return.”

We are less than 5 minutes drive/cycle from Barnstaple town centre and only 2 minutes from the A361 (North Devon Link Road), with easy access from the M5. There are cycle and footpaths at the end of the road giving off road access to the Tarka Trail.

There is also the South West coast path. Woolacombe, Saunton, Clovelly all within under 20 miles driving distance. Local pubs with great food within 2 miles. The hamlet only has approx. 22 houses it’s quiet. You can sit out and drink while watching the sun go down.
