The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). A place to arrive and unwind: Renovated in 2020, the house is quietly situated in a water-surrounded residential complex in Friesland. On 88 m², you’ll find a fireplace, sauna, outdoor shower, and a spacious garden with a lounge. Equipped with solar panels, it offers sustainable comfort for families or couples seeking nature, light, and relaxation—whether for peaceful days by the water, active outdoor moments, or cozy evenings by the fireplace, all year round.

Aan Het Water Wetterhaghe, possibly with a sturdy E-sloop

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful location with the garden on open water, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!

This comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Just across the Afsluitdijk in the middle of the Frisian meadow, you will stay in a wonderful holiday home with a nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to enjoy long cocktails and tables. Inside or outside! The garden is a lovely place for children to play and you can enjoy the setting sun here until late. Our house is near the beach of Makkum, forests, lakes and several Frisian "eleven cities".

This national monument from 1750 with a spacious garden and private berth, is on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace. In the barn, there is an infrared sauna.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all the comforts. You can stay with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also there. And most importantly, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.

You can walk to the supermarket within 1 minute and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. Upon check-in, you can take a key to the house from the key box and the entire house is available!

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
