Verena is very responsive and received us very well. She lives in the house next door. As for the accommodation, it is impeccable and very well-equipped, you can find everything there like at home ( coffee, salt, coffee spices, aluminum etc .) You will find yourself in the countryside but the road is so pleasant by the beauty of the landscapes! We stayed there 3 nights and were able to enjoy Lake Oechineensee and Interlaken and the surrounding area more or less an hour away! Note that the house is upstairs! Enjoy your stay!

I Had the most wonderful stay in Gerzensee. The village is beautiful, full of friendly people, and the surrounding countryside was a joy to explore. Getting in to Bern or Thun was straightforward and easy using the local public transport once I got used to the schedule. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable, with a fantastic terrace with an amazing view. Christina was the best host you could ask for. Extremely welcoming, kind, communicative and flexible. I felt so content in Gerzensee and Christina and the surrounding neighbours were a huge part of that.

It’s located in a place that’s hard to reach without a car. The biggest downside is that there’s about 1–2 minutes of off-road driving. But honestly, that’s the only downside. The three days we spent here were perfect and peaceful. We were able to buy fresh eggs directly from the farm and cook in the spacious kitchen. The bathroom was also very clean. If you have a car and are looking for a spacious and comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend it!
