There is one bedroom and living room with sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from parking space to the cabin. Use of jacuzzi (NOK 1000) and electric car charger must be arranged upon booking. Does not normally offer a jacuzzi for short stays. Fits perfectly for large families. Wild, beautiful and steep! Cabin with great views. Great natural surroundings with good hiking opportunities. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

All furnishings are new and all mattresses are of high quality. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment are also restaurants, bars, shops, climbing center etc.

Unique and comfortable accommodation with a delightful view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is located in the building next door, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can add an extra bed and/or baby bed if needed.
