The train station in Pommern is 200 meters from the Moselle Chalets. So you can also explore the Moselle perfectly by train and bike.

You can hike and bike here wonderfully. It is also a good starting point for excursions to the Moselle or to Trier, the oldest city in Germany with many Roman relics, about 40 km away. The maars of the Volcanic Eifel are also only about 40 km away and a worthwhile destination for an excursion.
