Situated in beautiful, peaceful grounds just 12 minutes drive from Looe. With it's own private garden and hot tub it's perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Down by the lake you will find an abundance of wildlife and at night the clear sky makes for stunning star gazing opportunities. Whilst rural it is a great base for exploring the local area including Looe, Fowey and Polperro. Excellent access to the A38 mean it's also ideal for exploring the north coast and further into Cornwall.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Bodmin Moor is a 10 minute drive, the nearest coastal town of Looe is 20 minutes away and the award-winning Eden Project is 30 minutes away.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. You will have your own walled garden area. It is a converted farm building, and we have attempted to make the best use of the space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in!
