Vacation rentals with a firepit in Het Hogeland

Staying in the artfully furnished little house was a very good experience. Thea and Gerard are great hosts, very friendly and relaxed, and easy to communicate with. The breakfast prepared by Thea was fantastic, the best we've had in a long time. Strongly recommended!

We visited the place with a group of 7 friends & family members for around 3 days. There is always something to do and it never gets boring due to the vast options of activities. We could've stayed 3 more days and would still find things to do. The Space is huge and the garden and surroundings are very nice. It looks slightly different than on the pictures but almost everything is still there and it never bothered us. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, cooking for many people never felt like a hard task at all. The sleeping situation is unique and very well described in the listing already, but should be noted. Communication was fast, easy and friendly at all times. For us this weekend at Pasjas was everything!Thank you!

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We had a very comfortable short stay at Roger's place. Close to the boat towards Schiermonnikoog. Staying here is highly recommended!

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

The place and especially Goasse are just great. We had a stimulating coffee drink with interesting topics. The apartment is very central for all excursions and in a quiet area. The view from the living room in the evening sun is phenomenal. Everything is as described and lovingly furnished. Goasse has provided many little niceties, an abundantly filled fruit basket, red and white wine, a water container by the bed and not least a well-functioning bike. Remote enough to be peaceful. Close enough to access everything we needed. Plenty of room, careful attention to detail, a lot of unexpected bonuses like food, wine, spa elements, etc. Very comfortable and easy. Ina was very gracious and we had no issues.

We felt very comfortable in Dorianne's place. The house is super nice, very spacious, great kitchen with enough amenities for 10 people or even more and comfortable beds. On request, we were allowed to come with 2 guests more than actually stated as the maximum for the accommodation, which we found very nice, even with that we still had more than enough space in the house. In addition, a great location, we would love to come again at any time.

Beautiful and cozy accommodation. The photos reflect the place very much. Aagje is very nice and helpful. The surroundings are idyllic and you can quickly get to Groningen by car and can explore the region excellently. We were there for a few days in November. It was very cozy with the log fire. The caravan is fully equipped and spacious. There's nothing missing. At night, when the fire is out, it can get cold in the caravan quickly. There are electric heating blankets in the beds. The heating blankets helped well against the cold, but with an extra heater for the bedroom it would have been better. The caravan is on the premises of a beautiful farm where there are horses. From the living room, you have great views of the countryside and watch horses on the paddock. All in all a great place to stay and recommended.

We had a great sleep in the cottage. It was a lovely cottage with a nice warm pellet stove. We'd love to come back!!

I would recommend this house to anyone who wants peace and quiet in combination with all the facilities to enjoy this house and definitely the people who rent something because really everything was great

We stayed at het magische meerhuisje for two nights and really enjoyed it. The space felt very private, even with the few other houses surrounding eachother. If the weather would’ve allowed I know we really would’ve enjoyed the lake that lays in front of the outside part. Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival. We also enjoyed the closeness to the city Groningen. A great place to stay for a few nights if you are looking for a peaceful stay!

Ylona also left us her private house, due to construction work on the house originally rented. Thank you for this service and trust! It was very cozy and Ylona was always responsive to questions. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi!

Cannot fault the whole process from start to finish. Beautiful house clear instructions took us straight there. Would definitely recommend we stayed as we were racing at TT Assen only 20 mins away
