Vacation rentals with lake access in Het Hogeland

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. Thank you very much for this! We hope you continue to enjoy wonderful guests who appreciate and treat your jewelry. Maybe see you next time! :-)

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for two nights with my kids. We loved the house! Very fully furnished, everything was present in the beautiful kitchen. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time!

Yanula was always very responsive and friendly. The communication was great and we were welcomed by the host, who was also very nice with us. The location is beautiful and I would definitely recommend staying there!

This is a must stay. Quiet, peaceful and a great place to getaway. Everything you need is there. Gerrt is an amazing host. Very thoughtful. Always responded quickly and gave my husband and I, great ideas for a day in Assen.

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We stayed at Liesje's place for a weekend and we were super lucky with the weather. We were able to have breakfast and long evenings on the terrace by the water in early october. A beautiful, quiet place to wind down!

The apartment is very well equipped. In the kitchen, all necessary utensils were available. We had a nice time and felt very comfortable. There is enough space for 8 adults. The location is very nice and the weather also played along. We missed a hair dryer. However, it was not listed as amenities. All in all, a nice stay. 👍🏼 😊

Jan received us and was very friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful nature all around, perfect studio for us 2. We definitely recommend Jan's studio!

The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped – everything from the kitchen to the bathroom was right. The location is particularly notable: an absolute dream for anglers! We visited the town of Sneek, which is about 15 minutes away and into the town of Joure, which is about 25 minutes away. Unfortunately, in bad weather, there are hardly any alternatives to do anything else. This should not be considered a criticism of the owner of this apartment, it is just a small note for younger couples. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall a completely successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

Gorgeous views on the lake. And plenty to do within walking distance from the property. Apartment is small, but has everything you need. It is, however, placed right next to a pier and a restaurant that can get busy in the season, so there isn’t much feeling of privacy. Plus the smell of the fish and chips. There was also a surprising number of flies and spiders, which I appreciate is not something under control of the letter.

We loved our time in this apartment. It was fun watching ships on the Sneekermeer and also the windy/rainy weather off the terrace. We hope to come back soon!

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Lovely lakeside chalet with all the amenities you need for a stay in the beautiful Frisian countryside.

We had a wonderful few days at this great place. The decor is color selection is really great, the hot tub and the various outdoor seating is a real highlight. The entire garden area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Wilko responded thoughtfully and quickly to requests. Only the beds have been a little too soft for our taste, which does not stop us from visiting this house again!

What an incredibly nice and lovely cottage, in the middle of the forest and at a window. Everything was present and clean. Furniture is slightly different than in the photo, but certainly no less bad. Beds are fine, we slept wonderfully! Terrace outside is also really nice, nice in the sun. Surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Plenty to see and do. It's a bit of a search which small path to park, but the description clearly indicates that. Owners are friendly and quick to respond. Top!

A lovely place if you want to relax. The extra attention was also great what can a person feel welcome.

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊
