Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

The newly renovated apartment is located in the east of Eisenach, in the green and quiet Karolinental. On foot, you need 15 minutes to the old town and 10 minutes to the train station. Eisenach's sights, such as the Wartburg and the Drachenschlucht, are easily accessible. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning oven, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Dear potential guests: Whether you are passing through, for a short break or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a panoramic view. The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. The red construction trailer on our old farm on the outskirts of the village offers a great view. Time to come down and enjoy the simple life in nature. Room to switch off and stop. The spacious construction trailer has everything for a good simple life: washbasin, stovetop, fridge. In the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa you can relax. The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Bright, friendly attic apartment. There is a double bed and a travel bed for toddlers in the bedroom and a couch in the living room. In the spacious kitchen can be eaten in cozy round. In the bathroom there is a bathtub with shower partition. The apartment is located in my mom's house. She takes care of the key exchange and shows you where everything is located. When booking with a dog, an additional €5 per pet per night will be charged.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram.
