“This place was amazing! Very clean, very private and quiet. My fiancé and I had a wonderful time fishing and just enjoying the outdoors. We had everything we needed and more. I can’t wait to come next year! The staff at Freshwater were very nice and accommodating before and during my trip. I would recommend anyone who wants to enjoy the U.P and the outdoors to stay at this place!”
This house is located near Boot Lake in Hiawatha Township. Fifteen minutes south of Munising on the M-94 corridor. Perfect year round for ORV/Snowmobiling. Would be great for a group of 4 wanting to explore the central U.P. **Pet Friendly**
“We stayed here for a weekend of snowmobiling and couldn’t be happier with this place. The trail is literally right down the street so no need to trailer out. Patrick is great with communication and there are a lot of nice touches there that made us feel at home. It’s within walking distance from the Boot Lake Bar and Grill where we found ourselves most nights after riding. Great food and people there! We love that this home is dog friendly too. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Beds and furniture are very comfy. Nice hot water and good water pressure. Great towels too! There’s also a washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. Patrick is also an awesome photographer and his work hangs on the walls which I think is a great touch. We would definitely come back!”
Beautiful log cabin getaway to relax and enjoy a lot of nature. Venture into the woods on this 55 acre property that wraps 3/4's of Pinelake. Great screened in porch, barbecue, and fire pit to enjoy. We do have one-three man canoe and three-one man canoes for rent upon request. There is also midway general store that has everything you need 9 miles away from cabin. The cabin is about 40 minutes away from Munising and an hour from Marquette for restaurants, bars, shopping centers and tourist attractions.
“A gorgeous location, especially with the screened in porch overlooking the lake. Clean and comfortable beds and couches, with a nice functional kitchen. Exactly what a cabin should be. Our family of four (2 adults, toddler and baby) were very comfortable and happy. Two tips. 1. If google maps tells you to turn down a two-track road to get there... don’t listen! It dead ends and only atvs can go further. 2. Bring some camp chairs. The seating by the fire pit chairs was just stumps when we were there.”
