We are located just outside of Munising on scenic H-58, the gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We are only minutes away from pristine sandy beaches, dozens of waterfalls, boat cruises, kayak excursions, and so much more. Our first cabin was built as a duplex with two separate units, much like a king motel suite. In the winter months we have plenty of parking space for trucks and trailers, we are only 2 short miles from groomed snowmobile trails and 5 miles from the Bear Trap.
“This cabin was a wonderful place to stay near Pictured Rocks in the UP! Kathy and Brad are super responsive to questions and needs. We forgot to bring bug spray and they had some to spare for us. Questions were answered super quick and they had plenty of recommendations for us. The ice cream inside their little store was also amazing!! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.”
Enjoy the rustic charm of staying in an authentic Log Cabin and relaxing to the sound of waves breaking against the beautiful Indian Lake shore.
“Just WOW! Absolutely beautiful stay. The cabins are brimming with an unparalleled welcoming charm- decorative touches, authenticity, coziness— all in an immaculately cleaned space. Lots of natural light, nice toasty heat for the winter months. The hot water was hot, and the cold water was cold, the kitchen had all the basics for us to cook with, and we even had access to games/card decks/books to pass the time on our snow day (not to mention, they have a TV and DVDs they can bring you if you request it). The location is beautiful as it is sitting directly on Indian Lake. Our cabin (the Clevelander) had a beautiful sunset view. We came in the beginning of March so I can’t speak to the summertime activities (although it’s apparent that this is the place to BE in those sunny months), but I loved the quietude of the winter here. We enjoyed snowy sunset walks on the property, and were so happy to have access to the fire pit for a little winter bonfire one evening. As far as stuff to do, Kitch-iti-Kipi is about 20 minutes away, downtown is about 7 minutes, and you are about an hour away from Munising/Pictured Rocks area. One of the things we appreciated most was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, JD & Angie. They went over and beyond for us, ensuring that we were comfortable and providing us with everything we could possibly need, all the while giving us space. We enjoyed chatting with them over a bonfire our second night there and find them to be kind, responsive, and overall outstanding hosts who will do nothing but continually improve on what is already an amazing place to visit. Needless to say, we will be back! Thank you:)”
Our camp is located just a few minutes from Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You will feel like you are in your own little private neck of the woods, but you are only minutes from all the sites and activities the Munising area has to offer.
“This was our 1st experience staying with Air B&B an we were really happy. The cabin is so cute, cozy and well decorated inside. There are so many extras that you wouldn't expect. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It is very clean, and inviting. I especially liked the local pictures of the water falls. Well done, Cathy!”
