Mallard Cottage

Nestled in a cove on Lookout Shoals Lake, Mallard Cottage is a small bungalow raised on piers to elevate it above ground level. This provides a special view of the lake that is as beautiful in the morning as the evening. Our yard is fenced with gates as we are pet and kid friendly. The exterior was updated in the past two years and the interior has just completed a full remodel....it is very fresh, open, and welcoming. The lake side has two large glass doors that give a full view from anywhere

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home, including a very comfortable Sealy memory foam king mattress. There is a big Ingles and several restaurants nearby. Chimney Rock and the lake (Lake Lure) are under repair and closed for the season. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.

Located in a quiet neighborhood only 1.5 miles off I-77, the Loft is a private second floor guesthouse overlooking Lake Norman. You'll also have access to an outdoor balcony, kayaks, paddle boards, the lake, beach, fire pit, and gazebo.

Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. We have a gravel, long, steep driveway (AWD\FWD ARE RECOMMENDED) & we’re tucked in down at the bottom of a 10 acre forest.
