Vacation rentals in High Knob

Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

Great house with an amazing view. It was nice that the host left a Christmas tree up for our celebration. The beds were very comfortable. We communicated a few maintenance issues to the host. Overall it was great for our family to meet up for the holidays.

Chris was great!! He knew we had a long drive so he had the place ready for us early!!! I can’t begin to say how awesome this place is!!! This bathroom is bigger than anything I’ve ever seen in a rental!!!!! The hot tub, fire pit with the outside tv!!!!! I could not have had a more relaxing time!!! Thank you so much Chris for the best vacation!!!!!

We travelled from SC for an overnight trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peggy’s place! It was just like it’s described, great location too! The porches are perfect for morning coffee. The house is well stocked with anything you could need! Peggy is a great host, her response time to my messaged was quick, she was very accommodating to us and our arrival time! Check in was a breeze! Highly recommend! We will definitely stay there again!

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

Stayed as a family four, two year old and five year old, and found the house to be the perfect size for our family. All listed amenities were available and since we booked the property was updated to now include a beautiful new deck in the back of the house with a grill and traeger smoker. Both kids greatly enjoyed the playset and the fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids running around. Would recommend staying here and Michael is a great host who is responsive to messages and provides clear check in/check out instructions.

The house is very spacious and even nicer than it looks in the photos. It was nice having the space upstairs to play games. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The bedrooms were very quiet regardless of what else was going on in the house. It is located in a private, quiet area with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. While the location is pretty far away from shopping and winter activities, the drive was pleasant and scenic. I highly recommend this home!

Had another enjoyable week at Ross’s Retreat. So much room to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake & Mountain View’s. The 2 kayaks always a plus. Hopefully will be back again next year. Thanks again.
