Waterfront vacation rentals in Higuillar

We LOVED staying at this Airbnb and had a fantastic time! Maribel is a wonderful host!! Super clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds!! Beach chairs, beach towels, volleyballs etc. all for us to use. The beach is right out the back door and the view from the unit's second floor balcony is dreamy-ocean, palm trees, beach all SO close!! We loved sitting and drinking coffee and watching the waves and people and dogs! The building only has 2 units per floor and we never saw anyone! Very quiet building. Very safe, family friendly area. The beach is amazing!! So clean!! Beautiful trees for shade, family friendly and a dog lover's paradise!! Several sand vb nets and many people played vb or pickle ball-so fun to watch! Lively, very walkable area- we walked everywhere- for groceries, breakfast, dinner, so much only a few blocks in every direction. Took Uber to OSJ several times - easy! We highly recommend Maribel's Airbnb - u won't be disappointed! We would love to visit again soon!

The place was great, with a nice balcony view to the beach, clean and nice pool. Airbnb was clean and just exactly how it was described in the listing, very much worth what I paid, to not leave out that they were very flexible with our check out time was allowed to check out 2hrs after normal checkout time, definitely recommend.

Perfect location / set up for beach access. It was exactly what we wanted. We also were there during an island wide blackout, and the host was proactive about reaching out to make sure we were okay. Very lovely time.

Amazing stay! The location is perfect—right on the beach and close to everything you could need, from restaurants to shops. The host was incredibly friendly and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Highly recommend and would definitely come back

- The location is in the best part of Condado, short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars, hotels’ bars and casinos. There are a few variety stores at Ashford ave, also Super Max is just 20-25 min walk away. - The unit has spectacular view of ocean and lagoon with relaxing sound of waves. It is clean with modern and cozy decoration. IAlso it’s well equipped with all you need during your stay. - Victor is a great host, always available and responded fast before my check in and during my stay. I would definitely stay in Victor’s place next time.

We stayed at Francisco’s place the week of Easter and the view was absolutely worth the small bumps of our trip! Fransico, as a host was not only responsive, but proactive in communicating with me when the island lost power just hours after we arrived. Something you might not realize the importance of until you find yourself in a foreign place with no power (1.5 days) and spotty cell phone service. The unit was clean, bedding was comfortable and the amenities matched the description. Local restaurants, First floor of building and elevators ran on a generator. Longe chairs and umbrellas for rent right at our beach ($5/$10) Beach was clean and felt safe. Pool area closed during outage and security on the weekend didn’t allow ANY drinks/food in the pool area. The main road behind the building felt safe but I was surprised by the trash on the streets/sidewalks and heavy police presence. Loud music at night, which you could hear in bed. The view and cross breeze MADE this trip for us!

Great place to stay in San Juan close to everything.

The instructions were clear and the check in easy. The unit was pretty and looked just like the listing. There were some fun extras like 2 chairs and toys to take down to the beach which the kids loved. Evelyn went above and beyond proactively bringing supplies to the house when the power went out across Puerto Rico. She was quick check in with us and to respond if we had any questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Jocelyn's place is on the water and a short 1/4 mile from Vega Baja's waterfront and then another 1/4 mile and you are at their beautiful beach. As someone told us it is, "One of Puerto Rico's hidden treasures." There are plenty of good places to eat within a couple of miles. Jocelyn is very responsive, friendly and helpful. We could communicate with Jocelyn thru Airbnb, text or phone which made communicating easy and convenient. And we met our host, Jocelyn which we are not able to do with many Airbnb hosts. We will definitely return.

Carlos was quick to answer our questions and the house was equipped with everything we needed. There was an island wide power outage during our stay, but we were not impacted because of the back up generator! There were plenty of linens and beach towels, pool accessories and kayaks. It's a perfect place to stay with kids. The house was spotless and the environment was so peaceful. We could have stayed on site the entire trip and we would have enjoyed every minute of it. We hope to return in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The place was peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the space was clean and comfortable. Porfirio was very responsive and extremely helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress-free stay!

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!

Carmen's place is in an ideal location--lovely beachfront property! The house suited our group so well and had lots of space for hanging out. There were a few minor glitches with the gate lock and one A/C unit, but Carmen got things fixed very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Our family had a great stay at La Hacienda. It was a tricky drive through the winding rainforest roads in the dark, but location was just how Gerardo described. He was proactive with checkin instructions and local recommendations. The house is in a great location by the river and in the rainforest-you can hear the coqui and birds and river flowing all the time. It’s just a short drive to grab groceries or check out the beach/shops in Luquillo. The outdoor living room space was really nice in morning and evenings while relaxing between activities - the ceiling fan helped keep away the few mosquitos that snuck in. Las Pailas is super close and our kids loved spending hours there. Tour groups came in waves so they got a lot of time on the short and high water slides and loved climbing on the rocks - just be careful and carry things on your back and not in your arms! :)

We had an amazing time. It’s a quiet spot with a beautiful pool and private beach. The waves are so big!! Irma was an amazing. We only had a few issues out of her control and she was kind to have them fixed in less than a few hours. The house is simplistic. Just has everything you need. It’s a great spot because it is an hour away from most attractions. Keep in mind it is off a main drag and I wouldn’t recommend walking but you can drive to most places as they are close. Enjoy!

My friends and I had the best time here! The pictures did not do this place justice, the view was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and they had everything we could have needed including beach chairs, towels, and all other important amenities. The staff of the building were also so kind. We can’t wait to come back!

Maris place was just perfect ! A 5 min walk to the beach and 10-15 min walk to local restaurants and markets. Just a few mins from the main strip of San Juan, the location was amazing. The apartment was spacious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking! I will 10000% be back !

We enjoyed our stay at Tom’s villa. Everything was nice just like the pictures. Loved the code for entry to his place (no keys to keep up with)The place was really cozy. We were very pleased with the location, views, and access to pools, beach, and the amenities at the Wyndham Rio Mar. We absolutely enjoyed pulling the curtains back every am to watch the sunrise and sunsets in the evening. Centrally located for a ton of tours/activities. There are plenty of dishes and utensils for quick easy grab days. The beach towels and umbrella came in handy for hanging out at the beach. Tom was very responsive and helpful to our questions. We definitely will be back!

It was terrific. We were right on the beach (2nd floor) and the apt is great. The beach is very popular, esp on weekends, so it would not be ideal if you are looking for a super quiet neighborhood. It didn't bother us though (and we are not partiers). It is very well secured. The air conditioning worked well although between the ceiling fans and the ocean breeze, we rarely used it. George was very helpful any time we needed anything.

Our group of 3 had a lovely stay. Host was helpful and the place was clean and comfortable. Having a pool and beach amenities (chairs, towels, boogie boards) was a huge plus along with the welcome snacks. The beach out front was not great for swimming (we were also there during a windy period so that made it harder), but it’s an easy drive to some other more protected spots. Nice restaurants are a short drive, and it’s easy to get to the rain forest for some cool hikes and adventures. Overall, we were very happy with the condo.

Absoloutely amazing location--you can hear the waves at night, you can sit on the balcony and watch the ocean while enjoying your breakfast. I walked barefoot to the beach every day--its that close. The space is cozy, well maintained and welcoming. Marcos is extremely kind and friendly :) Would love to stay here again thanks so much Marcos!

My best friend and I had an amazing stay in condado! Hosts were very responsive and made sure we were warm welcomed to a clean room! Would definitely stay again! Perfect location

We had a great stay here. Felix was super responsive if anything was needed. The place was very modern and smelled very clean. The playita del condado was walking distance, super close. Instructions were very thorough as well for check in/check out. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you.
