“We had an incredibly wonderful stay at Margrieta's place. The cottage is thoughtfully furnished and equipped, and offered a fantastic view to the picturesque landscape in the distance. Margrieta received us with great warmth and hospitality. She works hard in her impressive garden (which is a great place for a stroll or simply lounging about) and shared with us some of its finest produce. We also had the pleasure of playing with her dog Ziggy, who is most friendly and well-mannered. We wished we could have stayed for more than two nights, and would absolutely stay at the Dragonfly Cottage again next time we visit Tasmania. We would also recommend her place to anyone travelling there.”
Located just 30 minutes north of Launceston, Little Swan House is a home away from home. A spacious, elevated, sun-filled house located on the Tamar Valley wine route, less than 100m from the Tamar River, with walking tracks and abundant wildlife - an ideal place to get away from it all, or a base to explore all that the Tamar Valley has to offer - the many boutique wineries, eateries and natural & historic sites.
“This house was so comfortable! We ate out on the deck with plenty of entertainment from the birds. The yard is full of flowers, and the River walk was lovely at sunrise and sunset. The bathtub was very inviting on a cold night, and so wonderful to have a dryer as well as washer. There is nothing more comfortable than a recliner, and the TV is huge. The kitchen has everything you need, and the treats were appreciated. We also picked blackberries for our pancakes. Great location to enjoy the River Valley.”

“A really spectacular and magical spot, you fall asleep under the stars and wake up with views of the Tamar river. Emma and Nick have thought of all the small necessities you could ever dream of and more, it only made our stay that much more relaxing. It was hard to say goodbye to the bus, but we hope to back soon! X”
