Little Luxe met all our needs. A great location, so close to the beach, shops & restaurants. The property was very comfortable, had everything we needed & was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Really happy to have chosen Claire’s place in Hokitika. Heaps of space and very comfortable and easy to communicate. Hokitika is a great place to spend a couple of days- unique and a real surprise in so many ways.

We absolutely love this location. Used to come here when the dogs & kid were younger. The magic is still there! So beautiful & peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath- plenty of warm water. Perfect break from the hustle and bustle.

quiet little cottage that had everything we needed. well stocked and Sarah even prepared extra food (if we needed it, with an honesty box). charming! kumara is a small one street town.

Such a gorgeous spot. Throughly enjoyed our stay, if peace and quiet is what you're after then t his location is perfect. Fully fenced section so perfect for dogs. Comes with a cheeky wee Weka family and a cute friendly fantail. Home now feeling recharged and we will definitely return. Many thanks. M & T Enright

This place was outstanding - even bigger and better than advertised. Beautifully furnished with luxury furniture, linen and VERY impressive and happy house plants. The kitchen was super well equipped with gorgeous natural lighting. There were extra blankets around the whole house (including the TWO huge living areas), although we found the heater in the larger lounge room kept us warm enough, but it was a little cold out in the kitchen. Beds were super comfy and cosy, best sleep of our whole holiday so far. The hosts were lovely and checked in during our stay. They were also really proactive with sustainability and were happy for us to leave excess food etc behind for another guest to enjoy, which was appreciated towards the end of our trip to reduce waste. Great location a block each way to town and the beach. Would definitely stay here again - and certainly, one night is never enough!

We had an excellent stay at Drifting Sands! The house is so well decorated and just beautiful, creative accents everywhere including outside in the garden area and beach area. The house is directly on the beach so it was just fabulous surroundings and sunsets. Highly recommend Claire and Sandy as hosts and the house was perfectly enjoyed by two couples. Thanks for making our trip to Hokitika so memorable!!

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Suggested a really good bike ride for me to do with my daughter. The Bach was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed. Would definitely stay there again

Great all round, excellent for kids with toys to entertain young ones added bonus of good sized back yard. Comfy rooms and really well appointed kitchen. Highly Recommend :)

We enjoyed a couple of nights at Hokitika Beach Break. It's a warm spacious comfortable older-style house with modern high-quality furniture and kitchen. (The older cooker in some of the kitchen photos has been upgraded to one with a halogen hob.) Claire provides a lot of useful information in the house manual and communicated well during the booking process & our stay. The location is convenient & the neighbours who share the drive/parking are friendly & flexible. There's some traffic noise during the day but none was noticeable in the evening and night.

If you are lucky enough to find availability and you want to feel transported to an enchanted place, look no further. Loooved this place and the host!!

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

Such a charming cottage, only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Claire was friendly, quick to respond, and so accommodating. Really appreciated the late check out. Home was clean and beds were so comfy! Mahalo

We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍

Lovely cheap, cheerful and cozy little pop top. Good kitchen set up. Spa next to pop top which is shared with other guests. Great hosts!

Claire’s listing in Hokitika was an excellent place to stay. Amazing views close to town but a quiet stay. We loved our time there and would love to stay again.
