Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, as a base for hiking, biking, fishing, and sup golf, the snow season is also a great base for winter sports, including skiing and snowboarding. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
