There is a private garden at the front with wonderful views of the valley, a large living area with a log burning stove and a large, fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms, the first with a king size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a large bathroom with bath and shower. Just in case you don't want to venture out the whole of the top floor is a light and airy library with huge book cases full of books and two big comfy chairs in which to read them!

It was spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, plus the dog .It is very well located, close to 2 good pubs for food and drink and multiple places to walk, either from the front door or just a short drive. Kate met us soon after we arrived and provided excellent information about places to visit, eat etc. Sadly we didn't have great weather so missed out on the opportunity to explore the area as much as we hoped during our 4 day stay, but we are determined to return before the end of the year. Would have no hesitation recommending- feel we've discovered a gem of a place to stay.”

What guests are saying:“I booked this lovely studio pretty much last minute as I needed to self-isolate for a week prior to some hospital treatment (I wasn’t infectious!) The check in procedure was very straight forward and once inside the studio I was surprised at how delightful it was! it was very clean with some lovely touches, I was able to cook, work and even have breakfast and lunch outside the studio thanks to some wonderful bi-fold doors! The bathroom is great with a fab powerful and hot shower and the kitchen area has sufficient storage for food (if you decide to cook!) and there is a good mid-sized fridge freezer... The bedroom has a TV on the wall and the wifi was very good... The views from the bedroom are outstanding, I just wanted to get my boots on and head out, unfortunately that wasn’t possible this time, but I will be back to do the walks and sample the array of bars and restaurants that Holmfirth has to offer! Finally a word about the hosts, Karen & Kevin, although we could only chat from a distance it was apparent that they are genuinely nice people and in different circumstances I’m sure a social glass of wine would have been apt! Thoroughly recommended!!!”
A lovely double room overlooking woods half a mile from the centre of the market town of Holmfirth. English breakfast included and access to a private lounge with woodburner and door straight out into the garden.
