Beachfront vacation rentals in Holme-next-the-Sea

Little Conifer is a lovely place to stay - well equipped and the bedroom and bathroom are especially spacious. The patio is lovely and a real sun trap. A great location - a few minutes walk down to the coastal path and beach and 5 minutes walk to the local pub, which serves delicious meals and has a range of beers on tap. The bus services to Sheringham and Cromer and as far afield as Norwich are regular so its easy to get about if you want to leave the car at home. The walk along the coastal path to Sheringham is about 2 miles and an enjoyable circular trip to walk back along the beach at low tide - fabulous if you have a dog that likes to tear around on the beach. It's also lovely to walk along the beach to Cromer - about 3.5 miles - but the coastal path back involves a lot of walking by the road, sometimes with narrow paths.

A couple of days by the seaside was what we wanted and the chalet fitted the bill perfectly. The chalet is bijou but perfect for the 3 of us. Location a stones throw away from the sprawling beach a winner and perfect for the dog. Best fish and chips over the road at Beach Fish & Chips and a lovely pint in The Sailors Home. So easy to get to both Lowestoft and Southwold. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Paul and Sally’s cottage. It is very peaceful. The communication with Paul was great. The cottage was immaculately clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our own meals. We really appreciated the welcome gift, which was very thoughtful. The village is very peaceful with great beaches, walks and local amenities. The driveway to the cottage is a little narrow but plenty wide enough for our mid sized car. There is room to manoeuvre at the top, where Paul’s shed is. My son reversed out but I’m not that brave. We would happily stay again and would recommend.

This is my second time staying at Ruth’s and it was just as good as the first time. Very clean, everything catered for and very responsive to messages. With just a 5 minute walk to the lovely sandy Bacton beach, it’s a must for dog owners. Thank you again Ruth for your wonderful hospitality and I hope to be back soon for another visit.

A great beach hut for our family to call home for the day. A perfect spot with everything we needed for a day playing in the sand. Will book again.

Lucky Stone Cottage is a spacious , quirky, stylish home away from home. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The super king size bed is really comfortable with beautiful bed linen. The towels are really soft and fluffy too! Location is right next to the beach. The local pub serves amazing food and there is a post office and general store around the corner. I had a lovely relaxing stay. Sussannah’s recommendations were also really helpful when exploring the local area. Thank you- I can’t wait to book again!

What a find! This beautiful chalet surpassed or expectations. it was spacious, warm, spotlessly clean and cosy. Tim and Barbara clearly look after this place with a lot of love and care. Everything was great quality: the beds were super comfy, the bathroom beautiful, spotlessly clean with a lovely shower, the living room comfy, the kitchen well equipped and we were grateful for the tea, coffee, milk and even basics like oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Milo loved his doggie biscuits too- thank you so much! Did I mention the carpet? Sooo lovely and thick and clean, not what you expect in a place that allows dogs! It's less than 5 minutes to the beautiful beach. the neighbours are super friendly too, and the whole site looks very well maintained and cared for. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Lovely home from home caravan I liked the extra touches, hot water bottles on all the beds and lots of board games for the children .It was also good to have the smart tv and beable to log into prime tv etc .Kirsty was great at responding when we had a problem with the toilet , she had it sorted within a few hours . Great place to stay

My daughter and I had a fabulous stay at California Sands this April. From the moment the chalet was booked to handing back the key, communication from the hosts was fantastic, very quick, friendly and helpful responses in a matter of minutes. Instructions on how to find the chalet & to the keysafe were clear. On arrival, we found the chalet to be clean, extremely well equipped and a perfect home from home. A fabulous guest handbook in the chalet provided lots of detail about the chalet, the holiday park and the local area, a really helpful & thoughtful addition. The site itself had lots to do, offered various places to eat & the staff were all very friendly. We have told everyone about our wonderful experience and hope to revisit in the not too distant future.

Nice and clean caravan with probably the best instructions and communication i've ever experienced on airbnb. The caravan itself was nice and the addition of heaters in all room ensured it was not too cold.

Ideal location for us and our Cockapoo quiet near to the sea and within walking distance of some pubs and places to eat. The Chalet was very clean and parking was easy so would happily stay again

Immaculate accommodation. Loved attention to detail which included blankets and towels for my little pooch. All mod cons including an air fryer. Highly recommend. Enjoyed exploring the area. I will need a longer stay next time when weather warmer to enjoy the amenities.

We had a brilliant week. The hosts were responsive and sent clear instructions to check in. The house was lovely and clean when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The kids loved the pool and it was lovely and warm and a great size. The garden is massive and looks out over the sea. You can walk on the beach within 5 mins from the house. Thanks for having us we all really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Scott’s caravan. The caravan itself was very modern, comfortable and extremely clean. Scott was a great host with clear communication and directions, also a great recommendation of The Hero Pub in Burnham Overy Staithe. The food was incredible. We were very lucky with the weather as well, as it was beautiful during our stay. The location of the caravan is perfect, an easy walk to the beach and into Wells. If we stay in Wells another time, we will definitely be booking this again through Scott, as the process was so easy and the caravan was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We were with our 2 teenage kids and dog, and there was plenty of space for us all. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Liz’s house for a long Easter weekend and it was fantastic! Everything was clean and well organised which made settling in easy. Liz was great with communication at all times and the little touches she provided for our stay were above and beyond! If anyone is looking for a stay on the Norfolk coast then you won’t do much better than this! Thanks Liz!

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place this past Easter weekend. The house is very comfortable and caters for adults and children alike. Whilst there are two sets of stairs, there are gates so families with small children can rest assured. We had a dog as well and the enclosed garden was a real plus. Every detail was thought through and made the experience very comfortable. Location wise, this place is perfect. A playground across the road, and a two minute walk to access the beach. We did the cliff walk when the tide was in from Overstrand to Cromer and walked the beach back. Had food one night in the local pub (with a playground out back for children) - just a five min walk. Driving wise, we visited Holt and Cley next the sea - about a 30 min drive. All in all this is a very peaceful place, good for families and pets and combines tranquility with convenience to Cromer, the promenade and lots of great restaurants.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Terry’s mobile home. The mobile home was dog friendly with a nice enclosed decking area perfect for sitting in the sunshine whilst knowing our dog was safe! The mobile home had everything you could need, including a dishwasher and washing machine, Nice comfortable sofas and beds. The only thing we could suggest to improve the stay would be black out binds or curtains in the bedrooms, but that’s us being really picky and liking a little lie in! The mobile home was spotless on arrival, and Terry was excellent at communicating with us. We will definitely be back :)

This Airbnb was a great find situated on the Quayside in Wells-next-the Sea. The property has great views over the surrounding harbour, channels out to sea and salt marshes from either the living room or bedroom windows or the little sun terrace (very welcome on nice days) at the top of the property. I can honestly say I have never seen such a well-stocked kitchen before and there was so much in the way of glasses, crockery, mugs, cutlery and cooking bits n pieces you were never short of anything. There is plenty of room to relax with plenty of chairs, and the dining tables served not only for meals but was also great for me to use my laptop to check emails, etc - supported by high-speed Sky broadband. The TV has a full Sky package which meant we felt straight at home with all of the channels that we are used to! Beds were really comfortable and we had good nights' sleep. Parking is straightforward and is a few steps from the property. Lots of amenities are walkable inc boat trips

Will definitely return. More spacious than expected and really well appointed. Great location with beach and town really close. Only downside is parking with the parking space at the end of a narrow road and nowhere to really turn round. Not an issue if you have a small car. We parked in an adjacent street as advised by Fiona. Next time we would go by train and order an online shop for delivery when we arrived. Station is close by and there is a regular service to Norwich that stops at cromer.

We are back from an amazing stay at the Beach Hideaway and it was just perfect! The property itself was spotless and so tastfully decorated with a seaside theme. It was just right for 4 people and a dog to stay in and there were so many lovely touches like a personalised welcome sign, blankets for the dog and solar lights that came on at night. It is located a very short walk from a beautiful beach and we managed to cram so much into our short stay. Crabbing at Cromer, seals at Horsey Bay, the lighthouse at Happisburg and boating on the Broads at Wroxham. Kev was great at communicating with us and answering any questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Beach Hideaway to people and we are already looking at when we can book to go back! Thank you so much Kev.
