Monthly Rentals in Hope

This place is like a little slice of heaven. Very quiet location, felt secluded and not at all like being in someones backyard. It was easy to find, easy to park, cozy to hang out in. I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of the best accommodations available in Hope. If im ever down again this will be the top of my list for staying.

Bus 49! Is worth every PENNY! This is in fact a full blown bus and not a hotel. So the temperature on the bus certainly reflects the temps/weather around the bus. We loved our stay on the bus! It’s so wonderful! We actually had to force ourselves to get out and explore! I would even say the Bus is a piece of beautiful artwork. We even cooked a full blown gourmet steak and mushroom meal! On the bus! All utensils provided and basic seasoning. We strongly recommend booking a trip to Hope, AK to stay on the bus!

For people interested in experiencing what it is like to live in Alaska - this is the place to head to. Dry cabins off grid are still very common - and they offer a real sense of how well one can live without all of the modern amenities we have come to view as "essential". For a truly peaceful and lovely Alaskan retreat that is just about a 20 minute drive from Anchorage - this is the place to stay. The gardens and surrounding mountains with the nearby Bird Creek provides a wonderful setting. Joan is a wonderful host - especially if you are curious and interested in the various ways people live and thrive in Alaska.

Chris’s home was wonderfully comfortable and conveniently located. The kitchen had everything I needed and more. Chris was very responsive and we loved staying in Hope! 10/10 will stay again.
