Cozy cottage in Nordskoven🏡🦌 close to town and mountain biking🚵🏼

Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

Guest house with ocean view

Start the day with coffee on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view of the fjord. Take a walk in the garden where there are two small lakes and lots of nature to explore. Only 800 meters from the house you will find the sea, which offers wonderful walks along the water all year round. In under 10 minutes drive is Juelsminde, a cozy coastal town, cafes, and some of the area's best ice cream. You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day out in nature.

From here, views of Vejle Fjord, Bølgen and Vejle city. 10 minutes' walk to the city center. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Ferielejlighed på 1. sal af vores nedlagte landejendom. Den er ca. 30m2. Her er dobbeltseng (160x200), lænestole, sofabord og TV. Spiseplads til 4 og et lille køkken med køl, frys, kogeplader, mikrobølgeovn, kaffemaskine, elkedel mm. Samt et badeværelse med bruser. Lejligheden er aflåst til resten af boligen, og har sin egen tagterrasse hvorfra der også er egen indgang. Fri wifi. Vi har 2 fjordheste, høns, geder og en sød udekat. Leje af fold til medbragt hest muligt.
