My name is Avi and I warmly welcome you to the perfect exotic tropical getaway in Kabalana on Sri Lanka’s spectacular southern coast.

Just a little bit about myself. I have been visiting Sri Lanka for over 20 years, being drawn over and over again to this emerald island’s pristine beaches, incredible surf, stunning wildlife and luscious landscapes. I have been a passionate surfer my entire life and am the founder of the first surfing organisation in Israel. My family also share my love for Sri Lanka and have joined me on adventures to the island for many years.

Around 3 years ago during one of my annual trips to Kabalana Beach, I did some soul searching and realise that at almost 60 years of age, it was important to follow my dream of being able to surf all year around and living at a more relaxed slower pace. The answer straight in front of me was to embrace magical Sri Lanka as my island home. Since I made this life changing decision, I have never looked back!

My first venture in Sri Lanka was purchasing some land in Kabalana and creating Nuga House which offers yoga and accommodation. Spurred on by its success, I now own and manage 5 villas including Venus Villa. Today I live my life on my own terms in paradise- surfing every day in some of the best breaks in Sri Lanka, enjoying a healthy lifestyle, balmy sunshine, swaying palm trees and wonderful local culture and friends.
