Lovely stay with super good host. I felt like at home in the cabin and enjoyed it very much!

We had an incredible few days at Joakims cabin. The place was immaculate, more beautiful than the pictures on the advert and so peaceful and serene. There was a lot already in the cabin for cooking with and loads of games and fire wood which meant once you were there you didn’t need to leave to get anything. They also provided kayaks which was a really nice touch as the lake is beautiful and there’s loads of great trails you can kayak over to and hike. Will definitely try to come back again!

We had a fantastic weekend at this lovely cabin! The view is amazing and the cabin is cozy and well-equipped. We will definitely be back again.

From the start, we were very well received. Tomasz was ready to greet us when we arrived, so we were in really safe hands. He just reviewed the amenities with us and everything was really nice! We had an absolutely perfect stay at Tomasz's place and our trip couldn't have been better! We will definitely be back!

All the "bedrooms" are on the 2nd floor and are dense, so if someone snores in one of the rooms, you don't get away 😅 All "rooms" have 4 beds or more, there are no rooms you can lie alone in if you are actually 16 people. Stamp and sauna worked great! There is a very small water heater that is a small minus when you are many and also has amenities that require a shower a little more often than just hygiene. Was a lot of showering in cold water 😅 Kitchen is small, so it was also a challenging when to cook many and required more hands. The host was very nice and the cabin was cozy and nice with large windows that created an open room feeling 😊

I liked the tranquil winter cabin setting next to the water, and surely in the summer it would be more lively full of people on the water doing recreational holiday activities. I would definitely recommend it for either scenario very much so.

We had an amazing experience at the summer cabin in Hvitsten! The cabin is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location that gave us peace and beautiful views. We, including our small family and dog, enjoyed ourselves for 4 nights and could not have been happier. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our inquiries. When we experienced some challenges with wifi, it was sorted out right away, which we really appreciated. All in all a delightful stay and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Had 3 nights at this cozy cabin. Very well suited for 1 adult with 2 children and dog. We had what we needed for cooking and barbecuing. Cozy patio with morning sun and large lawn. The area is incredibly idyllic and the hosting was friendly and welcoming We would gladly came back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

We're so glad we found this home for our Norway trip! The surroundings are amazingly beautiful and peaceful and the accommodation was great! For those of us who want to find a different place, this was perfect. Everything was clean and fresh and there was everything we needed. The accommodation was also very cozy and nicely decorated. The host couple were really nice and helpful! We got great tips on different excursions and swimming spots nearby, very much appreciated. In addition to the place being great, it was a bonus that there was a very nice cafe and cozy second-hand shop in the yard. Our kids (7 & 10 years) loved this place and didn't want to leave! Highly recommend!

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

Incredibly comfortable cabin in scenic surroundings. Very peaceful and sheltered. The cabin was clean, and although there is a slightly simpler standard, the cabin was well cared for and convenient amenities.

We have had a really good time. The cottage is secluded and you will not see many people. We (two girls from the city) found it quite exciting at night. But once you're used to the silence, it's very nice!

Very cozy and simple cabin that was incredibly nice - recommended!

There were 9 of us in this nice place in early November, it was a short wait for the ferry and was very smooth. We went a little too far before we turned to the left so the map should maybe have a more detailed line on the trail. (It was completely dark when we arrived from the ferry). The cabin is nicely located at the top of Hankø and has a good standard with lots of space for refrigerated goods, etc. Some of the renovation wasn't quite finished but everything worked as it should. Great view, quiet and calm area. Recommended!

Nice and clean, and they really want you to feel welcome😃Thank you for the chocolate and coffee maker that you came with in the evening🙏Dogs welcome, and nice hiking opportunities 👍 A little chilly now in mid-October, but with so much wood you can just fire with, then there are no problems. I really enjoyed😊

Great location, near airport and close to Oslo. Host gave great tip to park for free and use public transportation to go downtown Oslo.

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in November. It’s in the middle of the forest with no phone signal, so it was lovely to have a digital detox! There is a great view over the lake from the dining table and terrace. We cooked hot dogs, burgers and marshmallows on the outside fire pit, went for a walk in the woods and played games :)

Nice place for some peace of mind, primitive and cozy. Big and nice cabin with room for many. Nice outdoor area with fire pit for eating food.

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

Olav was incredibly friendly and helped us get to the cottage. The cottage is in one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. The cottage is tidy, clean has everything you need for your stay and more. The walk to the 2 lakes is beautiful and the view point too. Why stay in Oslo when you can stay somewhere as beautiful as this. We hope to come back soon for longer.
