An exceptional accommodation surrounded by nature. The place is very refreshing and quiet. Everything is organized so that you feel at home! Marlieke takes care of her hosts: upon arrival the fridge was filled with fruit, juice, butter, jam, milk, fresh eggs as well as bread. A few spices, oil, and coffee complete the assortment. Not to mention ice cream for children! The bathroom has a shower and bathtub and bath towels are provided. The beds are already ready and remarkably clean like the rest of the house by the way. Marlieke is always available if needed even if everything is organized in order to be self-sufficient (tours to do, nearby shops, transportation, restaurants etc.). We highly recommend this place where we will come back without hesitation! A big thank you to Marlieke and her family.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights. We have 3 young children under 10. The location was peaceful in itself but the entire neighborhood and surrounding areas were as well. It’s a 10 minute drive to the P+R making Utrecht, Amsterdam, and beyond very accessible. Everything was so clean and they left us eggs and stroopewaffels to enjoy and a fully stocked Nespresso which makes such a difference! The beds were some of the most comfortable we have had. Parking was easy, sunsets were lovely. Black out curtains on every window. They even brought over toys for the kids. What a nice group of owners and fantastic location. It was perfect!

We have just had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully restored farmhouse. We were on a self-drive holiday from the UK and visited Utrecht, Lisse, Zandaam, all within an hour's drive from this location, along with a wander into IJsselstein. The accommodation was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook whilst away, and Astrid is the most amazing host. We would definitely visit again would recommend it for a central location to visit lots of local tourist destinations. Make sure you take a wander locally and find the trust cafe, the Dutch Apple Cake is homemade and delicious!

We had a fantastic stay in IJsselstein! Wim is a truly great and sweet host, and we felt welcomed and right at home from the very start. He was very kind and flexible with the check-in/out times and was there to give us cool recommendations about the surroundings. The village is really beautiful and peaceful, and the flat very cosy. We would happily visit again!
